I've watched countless Tina S reaction videos and the average response has been dumbfounded speechlessness. Most of the time I've had to wait a full thirty seconds after the lightning speed guitar playing ceased before the reactor came to their senses enough to say something "brilliant" like, "Jeez, that was good wasn't it?" Actually, their silence spoke more eloquently about what they experienced than words ever could. This is what I think happens to us while watching Tina S covers. Our brains begin to roast when 450 degrees of Tina S quadruple-speed guitar virtuosity is applied to them. We have to hit the stop button every thirty seconds to allow a cooling process to take place lest our brains sizzle out of control and melt. Tina S is performing guitar shredding impossibilities right before our very eyes. Hence, our confusion. Tina S, in our minds, is just too dang young to be playing that good! The average person can't swallow the theory that practice alone got her to that level of amazingness. A gift from God? Probably. At least that's my view. There have been two good Tina S reaction responses that caught my eye. 1. I think the "S" in Tina S stands for SPED UP! 2. "Watching Tina S play should be the easy part and her playing should be the hard part. But my experience was that watching her was the hard part because her playing appeared to be the easy part." Weird. But true. Afterthoughts. Tina has been negatively accused of being emotionless while playing. Granted, she doesn't gush with emotion like your average rock guitarist but here are three reasons why she acts that way. REASON 1. Tina S is NOT a rock guitarist. She's a classically trained guitarist. Notice how she has her guitar propped up on her left leg. Classical guitar style all the way. Classical guitarists are prim and proper and subdued on stage. Tina is probably mimicking the great classical guitarist Segovia's expression while playing not Angus Young's. By the way, Tina IS expressing emotion, it's literally pouring out of her instrument. REASON 2. Tina is not performing on a rock stage with 30,000 lunatic fans expecting guitar virtuosity and gobs of emotion. She is performing in a simple studio with one cameraman as her audience. She doesn't need to perform rock star stunts like playing the guitar with her teeth, or setting it on fire, or biting off the heads of bats. She's just playing the damn thing! Better than anyone that I've ever seen. REASON 3. The third reason why Tina isn't showing emotion is because what she's doing is easy. Yes, easy. How much emotion do you show while tying your shoe laces? Zero. Right? Why? Because tying your shoes is easy. You don't grimace and squint and bite your lower lip while tying your shoes because you don't need to and it would be weird if you did. Tina doesn't grimace and squint and bite her lower lip while shredding the guitar because she doesn't need to. The end.
I think there is another reason why she may seem emotionless. She is focused and in the zone. For a lot of rockers being '' in the zone'' means going wild, while for a lot of others it is being laser focused on playing , as if at that time '' Nothing exist in the world except me, instrument and music I am playing''

I don't think there is a metalhead out there who doesn't know this girl anymore. And if you don't, shame on you, but now you know her. 😁 The girl is scrubbing the cornea off her fingers.😁 If she makes mistakes, these are not noticed, because she is also about 5 times faster than the original. @@0ParisFrance The 5x were obviously an exaggeration. In fact, I remembered it more slowly, but that's also 30 years since I last heard the original. The guitar still makes it seem a little faster to me, even if that can be an illusion.
Regarding perfection and this performance. It's extremely good but as someone who plays classical guitar casually. I can hear a few minor spots where the sound could have been cleaner (some runaway distortion). But overall this performance is impressive.
@@0ParisFrance I've heard all of Tina's songs on her channel. Sure, runaway distortion can be used as a stylistic thing. But I don't think that's the case here, some of it is placed in sections where it would be weird to have extra distortion ring out. But playing the track 100% in robotic precision would probably take away from the track.
@@Zandman26 Before putting this version on TH-cam, Tina recorded others and this one is the one that suited her and her teacher who films it. Otherwise she would have re-recorded.

Hey, you really need check out Tina Setkic Dragon Force through the fire and the flames cover at 15 years old, awesome thanks 😀
Please, react to the Tina S cover of Altitudes, by Jason Becker
I have been watching Altitudes at least once a day for the past months, to give you an idea what you have been missing out on so far :) Even in slow motion the pace of it is impressive! To be clear: I mean the Tina S cover of Altitudes, not Jason Becker. Becker complimented her for it!
Speed up classical music, what you get???.... METAL!!!!
this time not - this is the original speed - check this: "TINA S - Beethoven "Moonlight Sonata" Classico-Rock Version"
Before listening to this Dr VIOSSY cover by Tina, you should have listened to the original classical piano version, and then the Presto Agitato version by Valentina Lisitsa !!
Yngwie: "O.k, yeah, ...it's about time I er, ...retired!"
this will show why: search for "Tina S france Vs Yngwie Malmsteen suede"
11:00 I’m ready.
2 secs later….
NOONE is ready for Tina S. No one.
One word: YEP!
No, you only thought you were ready.
During her playing she sometimes has this look like that she is wondering if she put the laundry in the machine. And that smirk at the end she realises, yes, I put it in the machine.
Classical pro level , no mistakes allowed. By the end I feel dizzy as if a just spent 6mn on a mad rollercoaster going faster and faster!
The best part is this was written 240+ years ago
2:03 I love how offended you look lol
she needs to go onto The Juilliard School of Music. Wow, very impressive. I think she has to have taken some Classical Training from somebody very good also
if you want to understand, look or react on Tina S 8 years of practice
It is said she was trolled on TH-cam and after this Video she closed her TH-cam channel, but it was not just the haters, she went to Collage to studie, cannot remember what but passed with flying colours, as far as I know Music is still a big part of her life.
Her TH-cam channel is not closed !!
1M thumbs up for tina...
Tina Setkic 🎸💪
Ever listened to Yoyoka. See her drum cover of Burn by Deep Purple. Epic.
Tina is currently concentrating on her studies at the moment, she is studying to become a lawyer in France.
personne ne sait ce qu elle devient arretez lez uns les autres de raconter des films elle a disparue de la toile certainement de par sa volonté point respectons
Tina to become a lawyer ??? In her engineering school in Évry ???? Do you think she has the look of a lawyer, shy as she is ??
Take a Look to Beethovens 5th or 9th Symphony, important base for all modern music
She is like Yngwie Malmsteens offspring. Very cool.
If she had one more hand she would be checking her Facebook at the same time lol.
Best Female guitarist for sure, but hey female or male ,it doesn,t matter Tina is in the TOP 5 best guitar players ever.
Another excellent guitarist with a different style is Marcin Patrzalek. You should check him out, e.g. playing Paganini's Caprice no. 24: th-cam.com/video/nmb_831Io7w/w-d-xo.html or Beethoven's 5th symphony: th-cam.com/video/gUarhwho0f8/w-d-xo.html
I think Beethoven just rolled over!
I don't think there is a metalhead out there who doesn't know this girl anymore. And if you don't, shame on you, but now you know her. 😁
The girl is scrubbing the cornea off her fingers.😁
If she makes mistakes, these are not noticed, because she is also about 5 times faster than the original. Something briefly sounded wrong twice. But I can also be wrong. Went too fast. 😁
she is also about 5 times faster than the original ????
Original of this version created by Dr VIOSSY in 2011. Tina is at the same speed. th-cam.com/video/hL_dlBA9bxo/w-d-xo.html
The original classical piano version lasts 7 min 25 : th-cam.com/video/oqSulR9Fymg/w-d-xo.html
@@0ParisFrance The 5x were obviously an exaggeration. In fact, I remembered it more slowly, but that's also 30 years since I last heard the original. The guitar still makes it seem a little faster to me, even if that can be an illusion.
@@TomTomson81 this is the 3rd movement (Presto agitato) this is the original speed - the first two are slow (Adagio sostenuto,
Allegretto)
please do her other cover too, Dragonforce - Through Fire and Flames
thats awesome^^
Great technique to be turned into music
she's alive, back as of sept 2023 and here is another channel where the mytho-stlaker "0parisfrance" didn't get back to erase his comments, lol
Ya, take the word "Female" out of your title for this video and you finally have it right. Nuff said!!
She averages 7 notes per second for the entire 6 minutes of this piece!!
"I'm ready"... well are you really sure you were ? 😉
She is really really good, as far as i know she just disappeared from youtube, i don't think anyone knows what happened to her...
she just disappeared ???? She has been missing since AUGUST 2016 !
@@0ParisFrance yes, so?
@@0ParisFrance lies, she just doesn't post on her channel, she's right here th-cam.com/users/MellifluousHarmony
Regarding perfection and this performance.
It's extremely good but as someone who plays classical guitar casually.
I can hear a few minor spots where the sound could have been cleaner (some runaway distortion).
But overall this performance is impressive.
Hahaha you don't know Tina's music ! Her style is precisely the distortion and vibrato because she is a shredder !
She was 14 when this was recorded 😂
For the Love of God That is all I am going to say
Yep. ;D
She makes your brain break.
Her fingers looks like Mexican wave sometimes :D
Tina Setkic lives in or near Paris France. Her parents paid for her professional guitar lessons since she was age 6. Here she's age 16, and she has become a virtuoso. Sadly, this was the last cover she posted five years ago, as she's now 21. Strangely, she has not posted anything since, not even to say how she is doing and what she is doing. Her fans are concerned. Many think she went to college. We hope to hear from her again soon.
WHY ARE YOU LYING ???? She is not 16 but ... 17 ! Tina was born in April 1999 and the video was recorded in August 2016 !!
And TINA in 2021 is ... 22 years old !!
Tina does not live in Paris, but in ÉVRY, 30 km south of Paris!
You were close, she started at 6yrs old and played this at 17 yrs old.
and started electric guitar at 13 y.o.
I know she had quit posting on her TH-cam channel while she went off to college. i think she just gradated. Don't know her future plans.
i think she just gradated ???
Why add word symphony?
Piano Sonata No.14 / in C-sharp minor
An equally impressive young guitarist, and I mean young, is 9 year old Yoyo (Pinxi Liu) from China. Check out this guitar cover of Angel of Darkness - Andy James

At the start .. you say "i am ready" My thought was... Nah you are not
Wow started watching you for the Nightwish reactions. Have listened to Tina S TH-cam posts for years. She is a true prodigy. Here is a video called 8 years of practice starting when she was six !! th-cam.com/video/vXotdh-nwAU/w-d-xo.html
