My Uncle bought an old piece of history back in 69 . An old WW2 German E boat . , he sailed the boat from Germany to UK via a stop at the Channel Islands . When the boat came to anchor in St Hellier , there was an outpouring of anger ,and of distress as the boat complete with its sinister markings bought back painful and vivid memories of the German occupation . The boat made headlines in the local paper and my uncle asked to leave . Even today at popular WW2 days
