Never have been anything but thrilled when I get a ribeye there though and the place is always really busy with lots of others who seem to enjoy the hell out of their meals too.

I don’t know where you get your information from but the steaks are delicious there, far better then at an outback. Yes I have had some that were not cooked correctly but that has been far and few. My steaks have always been tender and seasoned just right, again unlike the aforementioned outback.
Compared to outback they are good. But compared to anywhere else Texas Roadhouse is Outback. Outback is the worst, Texas roadhouse is the second worst. Might fine achievement.

This is a BAD review. I've traveled a lot and eaten in many different Texas Roadhouse locations in several states. I've been amazed at how consistent the quality is. The medium rare is a true medium rare. I always love the Prime Rib and the NY Strip. The NY Strip does have more gristle than at more expensive locations, but it's still good and the flavor is great. The ribs are always hit or miss - either great, or bad. But they are great often enough to make them worth the risk of ordering.
I disagree with most of this video. In my area the Texas Roadhouse is top notch. The ribs are the most delicious and fall off the bone I have ever eaten. This is just a matter of opinion. Not every restaurant is the same and not every cook is the same. It all depends on the day and who cooks your food at ANY restaurant.
My order never changes. I know what I like. Porter house steak rare with mushrooms. Ceasar salad, baked sweet potato, fried dill pickles I go nuts with their steak sauce. It actually taste like grilled steak.. You can even buy it in bottles. Only 2 drawbacks. I hate cinnamon butter. And very crowded. Not to Wheelchair friendly.
Ok, I’m picky about my food, but I’ve never had a bad sirloin at Texas Roadhouse, the ribs were great as well, I love the rattlesnake bites with bbq sauce. I can’t vouch for anything else they covered. I’ve not had the pulled pork or burger, and haven’t had any veggies in 35 years.
It depends on what location you go to, try other locations, they will blow you away, mine is awesome, plus you can customize how much sodium and how much of everything, they are awesome
Couldn't disagree more about the steaks. Oh yeah, shut up about sodium. Sugar is what is killing people. The rolls are way too sweat. Talk about that. We are regulars and along with the staff, enjoy the customers. They always fill up on the rolls then have to take their food home in styrofoam boxes. Real class act. Extra fun now with all the refunders coming in. They are so funny.

Both times I tried a Filet mignon, BOTH were overcooked. Agree that the steak fries are too salty. I go with the delicious pork chops and the seasoned rice.

texas roadhouse is a steakhouse. if you go there for anything other than steak, you might be disappointed. but if you do go there for steak, you will get some of the best steak you ever had. at least that was my experience.
Steak went back to the kitchen 3x was a charm, sad and was handed a coupon for an appetizer. Wife was not interested in going to begin with, will never go back again. Terrible experience!

I've had the Pulled Pork sandwich at my local Texas Roadhouse. It was delicious and I'd eat it again.
