You could see this as an aspect that this Majin Buu is a very old creature which lifes already for millions of years. Before Bibidi has resurrected him like Babidi (never created him according to Toriyama) Buu (as the Kid Buu Form) was a neutral creature which was neither good nor evil. But after destroying whole planets and civilisations Buu started too absorb all the negativ energy that was sent free threw this kind of distruction. When Good Buu got angry and separated from his counter part he separated from this whole power he has collected which we see as Evil Buu manifastated in this episode. Toriyama also explains in an interview that the manifestation got more power after the seperation. And that's why he's stronger. I think the Evil Buu was tired of being 10% of evilness of buu and saw this oportunity which he's been waiting for millions of years so he took the chance while he knew he was stronger, faught against Good Buu and absorbed him so he can switch with the 90% evil outside and the 10% in the inside. But why do I think that there are 10%. I think so because that would first explain that Buu didn't attack Hercule and Bee because his good side spent to much time with them and second that Piccolo said to Krillin: Majin Buu transformed. He's ALMOST pure evil. I wanted to wait with this explanation until Madison is finished with the Kid Buu arc so you can discuss this. It's a very interesting point to discuss Buu's actual feelings because He has different in his different Body forms.

But when buu morphs into Super Buu, he loses some of his character complexity. While he is more intelligent than Fat Buu, he's still more of a typical status quo DBZ villian at this point. Luckily for him though he has one of the most bad ass villain themes, because without it he's only a notch above Cell in terms of personality.
@@BOYWONDER20090 i actually agree with that. as far as design and some of the abilities adds a unique feel too. the soundtrack is amazing, dragonball series always delivers on the soundtrack.
Funny story that this episode reminded me of: in martial arts when some kids were learning, one kid kicked the other. Puzzled he looked at the instructor. The instructor say “hit him back!” and they continued sparing. Later when his parents were there he was kicked again, looked at his mother, she gasped😮, and the kid then broke down crying lol
This was truly their darkest moment. At least from Piccolo and the other's perspective. Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan are all dead. Goten and Trunks are nowhere near ready to face him, and Majin Buu is more evil and stronger than ever.
One of the best scenes in DBZ is when Majin Buu senses the Z-fighters and heads for the lookout. The terror that Piccolo, Dende, Popo, Yamcha & Krillin show. And that at the moment they are the last line of defense until Goten & Trunks recuperate. Great stuff
I'm loving your reactions & I love the line Piccolo gives "never train children when their mothers are around. It only causes trouble" That's a fight he knows he'll never win, also any reason episode reaction 224 & 225 are reversed on the playlist?
Fat Buu always felt the power of the fighters at the lookout but simply over looked them because there were enough humans and Mr. Satan too keep him occupied. Super Buu just decided it was time to follow those powers he sensed to find a challenge.
Well, made it up to the most recent episode! Evil Buu has been unleashed and Super Buu is almost here!! So many different things happen in this arc that I always forget and the puppy episode always breaks me :( Seeing Buu get so upset over those douches killing the dog and then reviving him was such a roller coaster as a kid and even now too. Thank God Bea is alive though!! All my favorites of this arc are just around the corner though ^_^ Ultimate Gohan, SSJ3 you know who[don't wanna spoil], and then the OTHER fusion that happens, man so much more to go in the Buu arc. I'll let some episodes build up again and then go on another binge, but I always keep an eye when uploads happen so I know right about when I can pick a night to catch up. See you guys again soon
I always found this episode very interesting and telling it was pretty amazing to see even though that Buu was pure evil. And we can see that boo was slowly starting to change he was still bad but hercules' influence was making a difference on him. The good side disappeared but the fact that Evil Buu recognize Hercule the memories good Buu had with him prevented him from attacking. He'll still kill everyone else without hesitation but Hercule he won't do it He'll be spared everytime.
I have to pose this question now, because I don't remember when it comes up in the actual show: WHY ON EARTH don't they go to the hyperbolic time chamber with Goten and Trunks???? I already wanted to ask this when Goku was still there and trained them. It would have been an EXCELLENT opportunity for Goku to stretch out the time that was left for him on earth just a little bit more and hell, he could have been a great sparring partner for Gotenks....
Piccolos call at the final seconds telling everyone not to attack buu and wait for buu to attack them instead was actually crucial. Watching what happened below he understood that communication here may still be possible, though in the end it doesnt save them and Piccolo made a mistake after this, i think it bought them enough time for trunks and goten.
Super Buu making his way to The Lookout due to him being able to *SENSE!!!!* that far is very scary. I mean, try to put yourself in Piccolo's position. You're pretty much screwed. Three of the strongest people you know are gone. Goku has returned to The Other World, Vegeta has died and Gohan from your knowledge has died as well. The only hope you have to rely on are the sons of two of the strongest Saiyans you know. But as they rest and have not yet that mindset of a warrior, you stand there awaiting the arrival of a new, more powerful evil. *Where do you go from here?? What do you do?? Who do you turn to??*
At last it has happened!! The scariest, most menacing DB villain (atleast to me) is here. My favorite monster 😈. SUPER BUU CHILLS BRO! I get it every time I see Super Buu.
Maybe he’s just gonna go destroy- .. OH NO!!! Girl I felt that. Been watching missing for 20 years now since 1st grade and Buu going to the lookout still scares tf out of me.
"At school we always went under the desk...." like an actual princess like chi-chi went to regular school or bulma coming from the wealthiest family she definitely had nothing but round the clock tutors until she went on her adventure to find the dragon balls at 16.

@@BOYWONDER20090 i actually agree with that. as far as design and some of the abilities adds a unique feel too. the soundtrack is amazing, dragonball series always delivers on the soundtrack.
Can’t wait to see Gotenks vs Super Buu! 😎
It's really cool to see Buu looking at his own hands since he now has 5 fingers lol
Super Buu theme is one of my favorites.
Majin Buu only gets more savage from here.
Welp we now know what Gohan was talking about when he first witnessed Majin Buu power against Dabura
the moment you see he was flying to the tower...you know the comic relief of the fat Buu was over and the story takes a more intense turn.
This was truly their darkest moment. At least from Piccolo and the other's perspective. Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan are all dead. Goten and Trunks are nowhere near ready to face him, and Majin Buu is more evil and stronger than ever.
What's even worst for the Z fighters is that Super Buu is more intelligent and sensible than Good Buu was.
One of the best scenes in DBZ is when Majin Buu senses the Z-fighters and heads for the lookout. The terror that Piccolo, Dende, Popo, Yamcha & Krillin show. And that at the moment they are the last line of defense until Goten & Trunks recuperate. Great stuff
Like I said before Madison is now gonna be seeing why the kai's were so afraid of Majin Buu.
I'm loving your reactions & I love the line Piccolo gives "never train children when their mothers are around. It only causes trouble" That's a fight he knows he'll never win, also any reason episode reaction 224 & 225 are reversed on the playlist?
Let The Dark Chapter Of DBZ Begin!!
I was waiting for this moment. Super Buu is so creepy and a great villian.
Piccolo should've told Bulma and Chi-Chi that the boys could sleep in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
Fat Buu always felt the power of the fighters at the lookout but simply over looked them because there were enough humans and Mr. Satan too keep him occupied. Super Buu just decided it was time to follow those powers he sensed to find a challenge.
Fat Buu couldn't sense powers.
They skipped a part. Super Buu says something about everyone hiding up there on his way over to the lookout.
Finally with super buu comes his awesome theme music. Hope she comments on his theme soon
I always liked the Evil Buu theme more. The theme that plays when he uses human extinction attack.
Magin buu is the only villain in dragon ball history to find the lookout 😳😳😳
I have to pose this question now, because I don't remember when it comes up in the actual show: WHY ON EARTH don't they go to the hyperbolic time chamber with Goten and Trunks????
I already wanted to ask this when Goku was still there and trained them. It would have been an EXCELLENT opportunity for Goku to stretch out the time that was left for him on earth just a little bit more and hell, he could have been a great sparring partner for Gotenks....
Wish we saw more of the Grey Evil Buu. Evil Buu is favorite design. He's scary looking and so is Super Buu, but I think Evil Buu has scariest design.
6:42 *That moment always freaked me out as a little kid.*
Super buu is literally the Crack head at the gas station at 3am personified. Lmao
Joker’s insanity doesn’t come close to Super Buu’s. Y’all know them late 80’s kids had nightmares from this point on in this saga.
17:19 EXACTLY what I was feeling, m8! 😅🤭😭😱
Finally, super buu ! I love him so much.
Super Buu’s music is bad ass
At last it has happened!! The scariest, most menacing DB villain (atleast to me) is here. My favorite monster 😈. SUPER BUU
CHILLS BRO! I get it every time I see Super Buu.
12:58 i always get chills on that move and the sound
too bad they talked a bit over it :))
The Evil Buu flew up to the dog murderer and blew him away before Evil Buu fought Good Buu......did i miss something
Shenron is hungry… watch out Madison!!!
😁😄😆😂🤣
Maybe he’s just gonna go destroy- .. OH NO!!!
Girl I felt that. Been watching missing for 20 years now since 1st grade and Buu going to the lookout still scares tf out of me.
The AOE attack on Earth is definitely one of the highlights of this Saga. Can't wait to see that again, was so epic the 1st time. xD
20:53 Or use the Dragon Balls to seal Buu away.
Why do we have to wait for this long
This Majin Buu is that strong to sense the Kami lookout and knows about Gotenks. Epic
15:11 😂😂😂😂 that’s the look you have when you get caught doing some shady stuff
I love Super Buu’s theme
The evil buu sculpted fat buu into the perfect body for combat
"At school we always went under the desk...." like an actual princess like chi-chi went to regular school or bulma coming from the wealthiest family she definitely had nothing but round the clock tutors until she went on her adventure to find the dragon balls at 16.
I like the ominous music at the very end of the episode as Super Buu is hovering over Kami's Lookout. It reminds me of his theme music from the 'Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22' game.
Super Boo's Theme (from DBZ: Ultimate Battle 22)

Piccolo said Almost Pure Evil, that Almost was the mature mind grown from eons that suppressed the Evil Kid Buu at least that's what I believe but it was hinted here that there was more to Super Buu
Don’t forget Madison, they can’t use the Dragonballs for another 4 months. So even IF they decided to try to bring Babidi back to seal this new Buu up, I don’t think he’s going to give them 4 months to do it.
Looking back at this now. Can't believe how brutal that scene was. Blowing that guy up from the inside. Holy s×××!
5:15 to be fair goku only seen it once then did it himself without even being told how to do it
I like this Buu better for being a villian, it's what you expect a villian to be. It makes sense that the other buu was good, this was a good saga. A nice one to end it on.
this is what i cant understand from the DBZ since I was a kid and watching this again now , can someone explain this to mee ... When Evil Buu left Fat Buu the one who should be Left is the Fun Loving Fat Supreme Kai right ?! the question is why is there 2 Buus.
Super buu is very creepy you're not wrong Madison
