about the ownership thing, having a major stock on a company makes you an owner too, regardless of how the structure of the company/parent company. 4:10
That's what I thought, they are not getting paid because they didn't have liens or a Secured interest. That should teach ALL Influencers who do stuff like this to file Notice of Security Interests to make sure they get paid in bankruptcy.

so basically this company bought her brand at some point but kept her on as the face and designer, but in some fashion they are the majority owners of the IP, royalties, sales etc.
I’m not understanding how we are supposed to trust JH after bankruptcy when her pre-bankruptcy lipsticks were such a disaster. To put stealing on top of that is just mind blowing. That’s a big no.
She will make a video in a few weeks and say her typical BS. My team and I didn’t want to respond until we knew what was happening. You guys I didn’t know this was happening until you all knew. I have been working on my next launch for years. Please go buy it. Blah blah blah.
"they just labeled me as founder" THEY?? WHO IS THEY??!! If you own the company then they is you!! Shoulda been a politician can't ever give a straight answer lmao.
Also, having a parent company does not mean you are not your own company or an owner of that company. Most companies do have parent companies or eventually get one. Almost all brands can be traced back to about ten larger companies that own everything else.
Honestly there’s no shame in Jacklyn saying she’s not the sole owner, there’s so much money that goes into creating a makeup brand it’s not even funny.

She 100% needs to address the Koze situation. I’m not sure an apology would mean much though. She’s unbelievably selfish.
I had no idea that Koze had to change their name. That’s so sad.
Chapter 11 bankruptcy is a reorganization. Makes sense with Morphe closing and them owing her money. This helps protect her brand and money.
Literally was binging your channel when this video popped up! Thanks girl ♥
I feel like more people follow and pay attention to smaller and micro influencers more than anything now
about the ownership thing, having a major stock on a company makes you an owner too, regardless of how the structure of the company/parent company. 4:10
That's what I thought, they are not getting paid because they didn't have liens or a Secured interest. That should teach ALL Influencers who do stuff like this to file Notice of Security Interests to make sure they get paid in bankruptcy.
There are differnet types of bankruptcy, one where you go out of business and another where you restructure the company.
I think she’s taking a kardashin approach with simply not addressing it
I’ve noticed that too!! Is she really doing loungewear like really? I’ll rather shop skims
Cosmic Karma does what it needs to. Be a good person and you get good back.
MLM Boss babes also think they own their brand, so...
That Koze shit is the worst thing she has done, not a shred of sympathy or respect for her left
How is any of that legal? How can you just not tell anyone involved with your company and your employees that you're just done and not giving them anymore money??
First the lipsticks and now all this. She never learns just onto the next thing.
I AM SO HAPPY YOU ARE BACK!!! I am living for these videos
at this point she owes this woman money for killing her brand and livelihood.
We're wiser now, and that freaking awesome.
Some of these influencers are fake as f**k. They fake like something only to sell it to consumers.
Thank God!!! I was fed up with her taking advantage of her followers
Thanks for spilling the tea 🫖 I unsubscribed from her faster than I could even think about it! If it’s one thing I hate, it’s liars. Especially those influencing younger generations.
News: *Morphe stores and their brands are closing/gone bankrupt*
Me: *"What is Morphe?"*
This is why you pay to TRADEMARK ™️ your company name. Then it can't be used by anyone else in that same industry. The name could be used in another non conflicting industry but not the same type of product.
She tied herself in a business agreement to a shady company so this is what she gets. Choose wiser.
OMG! I have been soooooo outta the loop with makeup cause WHO ARE THOSE OTHER BRANDS?!
Influences care only about SELLING PRODUCTS. THEY DO NOT APPRECIATE THAT WE THE PEOPLE MADE THEM WHAT THEY ARE.
Hopefully JH will stay gone. I only heard about her because of drama. So pathetic!
I only heard of her because of those disgusting lipsticks she sold.
Upcoming Netflix miniseries - MORPHE: the rise and fall of beauty
the defensive tweet tells me all i need to know
At this point I just want J and her brands to go away. She can blame people being mean on social media all she wants, but none of those people made her lie and steal from other creators.
so basically this company bought her brand at some point but kept her on as the face and designer, but in some fashion they are the majority owners of the IP, royalties, sales etc.
I miss the Michelle Phan, JLovesMac, Petrilude, Makeup Geek days
The Koze situation is just disgusting
It’s kind of like an MLM… without the recruiting part. You “own” your own business, but not really.
I’m not understanding how we are supposed to trust JH after bankruptcy when her pre-bankruptcy lipsticks were such a disaster. To put stealing on top of that is just mind blowing. That’s a big no.
I lost all respect for her after the Koze situation. I hope it is downhill from here. She deserves it!
All stuff aside- LOVE hearing you say my name with your accent
You mean to tell me those overpriced snuggies are sold out?! Now that’s the real scandal
Down Hill is the perfect way to say that.
didnt know morphe until it went bankrupt, but i’m here for the tea 😂
Also, having a parent company does not mean you are not your own company or an owner of that company. Most companies do have parent companies or eventually get one. Almost all brands can be traced back to about ten larger companies that own everything else.
Honestly there’s no shame in Jacklyn saying she’s not the sole owner, there’s so much money that goes into creating a makeup brand it’s not even funny.
