Great storytelling and humor, entertaining to watch! The random proximity chat encounters make this game unique. One tip about YT videos I wish I knew sooner: if you render the video in 1440p (despite being recorded in 1080p), TH-cam will dedicate a higher bitrate to your video (even if it is the same vp09 codec) and it will keep a lot more of the original quality (less blur in the foresty areas, etc.). Played commander a fair amount even from a pretty early level (when no one else took the role) won more than I’ve lost. Always nice to get praise from the squad leaders

I've occasionally played as commander, when I do it I tend to do so in a supporting role to squad leads.
You can say X squad attack along this axis, a Garrison is needed in this sector etc. But allowing freedom for initiative based on what's going on on the ground.
This works if you have good squads but if not it's terrible, and then they turn on you.
Tank squads are always a nightmare, some people despite three man squads seem to lose tanks constantly.
If I could order strong directions I'd order tank squads and 2 infantry squads to work together, I've wondered how effective a full squad in a following half track behind a flanking tank could be, but organising it is a nightmare.
But if you can spawn a supply truck, do spawn a supply truck, even after nodes have been built.
Don’t worry husk. In 70 years your story will be unearthed and they’ll make a movie about you.

I gotta be honest, I don’t play commander much, but I HATE it when people get upset that I try and help defend objectives as commander. I’m not just gonna sit in the back and do nothing, I’m gonna help people spot enemies, I’m gonna help fortify, and I’m gonna help fight. Sitting in the back is a recipe for failure. Although I did find it funny you zoomed in on the 0 commendations at the end lol

As a commander main, I can vouch we are the most hated class and least appreciated. Very slim chance you get a teams worth of accommodation medals.

I came into a game where we were about to lose the last sector with no commander ...i.took the role, grabbed a supply truck got two garrisons up and basically just gave everyone what they asked for and we won..... it was great haven't touched commander since

I honestly love playing commander and squad lead also artillery. Played commander 9 times so far lost twice. Level 43.

I just played for the first time a few days ago. I still need to learn the game. But the commander was bragging about having 200 hours in the game and I was like, dude, that's like maybe a month of playing. I have over 20,000 hours in some games.
