I remember helping out rookies that were older than me. I was a boy soldier when I first went into combat, months later, I’m helping out these adults fresh out of basic and have never seen combat

I ended up being squad leader in my first game last night. My squaddies were brilliant at helping me. It reminded me of teaching Nan how to use a mobile phone.
I like playing with new recruits. It’s like they are intimidated at first when They are lvl 2 and I’m lvl 200 but throughout the match when me and my brotha chirpin they start to open up. It’s fun explaining how the games played.
These poor new recruits going in so naive and unaware. They had one of the best damn squad leads on the game introduce them to the beautiful chaos that is hell let loose. Also RIP PATO

Quick tip, if you don't know this yet: your binocs are EXTREMELY OP. They have zero recoil sway. So if you see an enemy, place the reticle on their head. Without moving your mouse, press 1 to draw your rifle. The reticle of your rifle will be exactly where the enemy is, all you have to do is click. I think you have to aim too, I'm pretty sure. I don't pay SL very much so not for sure
I love being squad leader in this game! I got a couple of guys to run up and melee a tank at the end of a desperate last stand. People are so damn funny :)
if I had one piece of advice for the FNG's, it's check your ego at the door at let yourself be educated by the "veterans" even if they're not your squad leader. this is a great community and we're always willing to pass on some knowledge. don't worry about the neck beards yelling at you or giving you a hard time, we'll sort them out. good luck out there.
