It is SO HELPFUL to hear your reasoning behind your decision to use certain techniques. This is exactly the kind of information I need as I improve my painting skills. Please make more videos like this!!! You are an inspiration to me and your voice is so pleasant to listen to.
Just beautiful! I so love your thorough teaching, explaining as you go the reasons for your choices. I get so many of my questions answered. Thank you, Louise....see you on Patreon !
Hi Louise, what a beautiful painting! The info that you shared is so helpful! The wet on wet makes it so interesting to see how the colours blend smoothly. I love this tutorial and what a cute little fish! ❤Thank you. Helene
It’s always a pleasure to hear and watch you with your techniques..I have definitely learned a lot from you. I tap into others for fanciful techniques too. It’s all so much fun and I don’t ever feel rushed or stressed….only encouraged to do as I please for a satisfactory outcome, whatever that may be…🙏🏽🙋🏻♀️👍🏽Mia
I I was just getting ready to draw a goldfish today and when I saw you upload such a video it was like a neon sign for me saying : Go for it. You can do it. ❤❤❤
A beautiful fish. It is so nice to learn how and when wet on wet is used. I never really knew what glazing was but you demonstrated it so well. I think my problem was I never let the paint dry before the next step. Thank you so much🥰
Happy Friday Louise! I love your videos so insanely much! I'm really burning for Watercolour thanks to you! I'm gonna expand my colours soon! I'd love to see you do a review on ShinHan PWC watercolours :o That be amazing! ♥ Love from Sweden! ♥
Thank you so much for this video! I was able to understand everything that you were trying to get across. I can't wait to try this exercise! Your goldfish is beautiful!
Lovely! This explanation and demo is exactly what I need! I've put away my watercolor for a short while in favor of other projects and activities that need my attention right now, but this is so clear I'm impatient to get them back out! (We're going on a road trip this weekend, maybe I'll bring a few supplies with me...) Thank you so much! I will be referring back to this video multiple times along my journey, I'm sure!
Beautiful! I am always so grateful for your videos. Not only are they so informative and very helpful, but your advice and teaching style are so wonderful. Thank you. I wish I could show you the disaster of a fish painting I just did..ugh! I was experimenting with techniques, and it went sideways very fast. I finished it, but it is scrap.
I love your goldfish 🐠 painting. It's so beautiful 😍. I want to try it to but with my own goldfish pictures. 😊 But I worry mine mine not turn out as well as yours but i can only try...
I am taking an in person class and I learned more here today than I have in 6 weeks of the class. Question, is it wet on wet if you paint a section and then paint another color on it while it is still wet or is it wet on wet only if the paper is wet first? Signing up for Skillshare based on this video !
Thank you so much! It's wet on wet if the paper is wet. Think of the term 'wet on wet' like this: the first 'wet' describes the paint and the second 'wet' describes the paper.
Hi I love your tutorials. They are helping me get back to painting after a 30 year break. Wondering if you have ever used aquaboard in place of paper and if so what your opinion is about it.
Hi Louise, Absolutely love your tutorials, learning every time. You are an amazing Watercolour artist. In this video you used the Eradicator Brush and was wondering why our main Australian art supply shops don’t seem to sell them? Any idea?
Hi Jane. Thank you very much. No idea I'm sorry. I'm not sure that art suppliers stock any Rosemary and Co brushes here in Australia. I order mine directly through Rosemary and Co. They are good to deal with. They ship quickly and are well packaged.

Hi Louise - 😮Is the free month still available ? I am interested in the one month trial
Hi Tracey, yes it is. Just use the link I've shared. I think it's only for people who haven't used Skillshare before though.

I appreciate your precision in your techniques!
Excellent naration and explanation! Thank you, Louise.
Thank you. Clarifies so much. I've been guilty of making mud because I'd try to paint everything at once using wet on wet.
You are very welcome. Thank you Rita.
Me too, I think I try too hard and have so little patience, but I am learning so much. Love it.

Thank you JB. I'm sorry it didn't work out. Keep it and practice on the back.
@LouiseDeMasi thank you, that's a great idea. I've been learning a great deal and realizing that not every piece will be a success.
Wonderful tutorial. Each step has the rationale clearly explained and visible. Beautiful end result with your art. Thank you very much.

@@LouiseDeMasi Thankyou for your prompt reply, very much appreciated.
Shipping cost was quoted as $21AUSD ( for two brushes) but I’ve sent an enquiry, hoping it isn’t so. 🤞
I wish you could show us wet on wet for cityscapes if possible please 🙏
When will you post the three fish tutorial?
I'm currently working on it. I hope to post it in December.
Perfect ❤🎉🎉
