Riestie, made several low blows to Giorgio. Who ever recieved such a blow himself knows, how long it takes to recuperate.
petrosyan seems to have hurt his left hand quite badly. from 15.46 on he barely used it again.
comments are all about the kick to the balls but apparently petro also broke his left hand in round 1. Also that crazy wild pushing switching style is going to mess with anyones game and counters.
Ristie won that fight period. If Petro broke he's left hand it's he's fault isn't, it's what happens in a fight.

The switch of stances begun to be a puzzle for Petrosyan. I wonder why he didn't use the front kick to use distance in the third. This needs a second fight revenge

If you recieving a very strong hit to your balls every minute, you can not be as swift and strong as before. Riestie fights like a woman.
@@TheY12321 if the low blow is that bad you hit the floor and you see the pain in that person's face it was still a low blow but accidental. Petrosyian was fine after. The problem was Rustie frames over the shoulder with a miss and cones through with a massive hook and petrosyian is hurt. Only bad commentators would make you feel differently

@@pube66 almost every great figther that has fought over 50 pro fights has been knocked out. every single great fighter has lost in their career if they fought more than 50 times. petrosyan has over 120 fights, he has lost 3...drawn 2 .... with buakaw (he had only been fighting 5 years mauy thai when he tied buakaw).

I look at all the comments against Risti and can't help but feel a bit of sadness - I came to watch this fight expecting a lucky punch but no Riste came to fight, pushed Petrosyan back a couple of times, definately put up a good fight and won the fight.
He then went on to beat Van Roosmalen, Hollenbeck and a few other masterful kickboxers - so why are you all crying fowl? It's a freaking fight. Yea Petrosyan is still my favourite glory fighter, but he lost this one - period.
He won this fight but he is not even on giorgio's level. This is called BAD LUCK. 9/10 giorgio wil win. 10% is lucky punch...

There should be hard semi plastic groin cover for jingles taped to body under shorts. So even in case of direct kick it would not affect fighter. It would not restrain fighter cause it would be relatively small (just balls and dong) and elastic on sides to allow kicks and whatever.
I've seen so many times fight goes decided after one or even 3 balls kicks (yes Remy Bonjasky got 3 kicks in groin once and was wasted in fight).

il nero ha dimostrato di saper combattere molto bene, ma sopra a tutto ha dimostratto che per battere un giocatore agressivo, devi essere anccora piu agressivo.. non puoi afrontarlo cercando di tenerlo a bada o schivando colpi, ma glie devi mena e an che velocemente rischiando di prenderle.
Il problema è comune in molti sport, se lavori su schemi tecnici ben definiti, che trovo essere i migliori conosciuti, allo stesso tempoti esponi ad un tempismo differente dslla tecnica che finisce per sorprenderti.
non sono un esperto, ma Petrosyan è rinomato per la sua capacità di schivare e colpire con precisione di rimessa, più che per l'aggressività nell'attaccare...contro Ristie ha perso probabilmente perché si è rotto la mano alla prima ripresa ed infatti non l'ha più utilizzata

Just coming into appreciating Kick Boxing Glory style. Ristie was allowed to fight dirty, brings the sport into disrepute. The last of 3 low blows from Ristie was hard. Without that allowed 'dirt' Ristie would have lost! Shame on Kick Boxing. I hope when it opens up again management will be a little better.

Giorgio hasn't even fought any top fights since he got KO'd here. Sittichai, Superbon, or Marat Grigorian would beat him up.

Ristie and his trainer were kicked out of Glory after this fight because it Was found out that Ristie and his trainer tampered with and packed his gloves. 🥊 most likely with plaster or some kind of metal...... who knows but it’s all over the web, it’s why he was never allowed to fight for Glory ever again.

He never packed his gloves. He cut out the thumb to allows dexterity inside the glove. Just wanna note as well that this action is common in Holland, so the trainer must've done it subconsciously because of a lack of experience fighting outside.
This also wasn't for this fight, it was for the van Roosmalen fight, so this fight is still legit.
Ghehe, this is exactly not true, he competed in Glory many times after this match.
Of course after took that hard low blow the doctor is fighting in not completely him self. What a dirty style as always.

Petrosyan is much much better Kickboxer... I train so that one day I will have a bit of Petrosyan's ability to dodge, predict the opponent's blow and maintain a distance that seems to be from another world. What Andy bla bla bla calls boring, a kickboxing practitioner calls excellence. Kicking balls is "easy"... anyway... dirty fight!!
