I love unistrut been using it 30+ yrs commercial plumbing and refrigeration. I wish i had a picture but 25 yrs ago i built a cage for a massive drum set all out of scrap unistrut parts and peices. It extremely universal. I still use it for residential boilers so it looks really nice as well as sturdy.

How did you mount the unistruts to your wall?
Did you have to use a special thin walled socket or special tool specific to unistruts or special lag bolts to mount them to your wall?

3/8" wedge anchors. No special socket.

Uni strut is one of those things where you think so should less expensive than it is since it’s so common. I did the math on making a shelf like this and the cost is easily 3x any other shelving solution

It is a bit more expensive but youll never have to buy new shelving for life. Plus if installed correctly it can support 1000s of lbs.
