- Zug is a German-speaking city in Switzerland. The name 'Zug' originates from fishing vocabulary; in the Middle Ages it referred to the right to 'pull up' fishing nets and hence to the right to fish.
The city of Zug is located in the Canton of Zug and is its capital.
The lake Zug and old part of the city are the main touristic spots.

I love Zug
Know what month this video was recorded in? I live in America (minneosota, in the middle of the great plains) and I really want to study in germany when i go to college and live in Zug, I know it has nicer climate than here, but I would like to have a visual too. Danke
Michael Gratz The film was shot in early April. Greeting shiso Productions
Wow
That was one fast response
For us, April is not surprising to have tons of snow
+Michael Gratz You do realize that its at least a 3 hour trainride to the border of germany from Zug right?
StronkTaereth I had wanted to live in Zug after college in Germany. Main reason was because of cheaper education and higher pay for business jobs in Switzerland, but I have decided I will just stay in America. Go to school at the Air Force Academy and retire after a few tours into the business field.
who knows....
:-) !
Just wish they'd stop building horrible ugly buildings in this beautiful city.
Thank you!
