  • PTT installation into the Vintage Johnson Viking II tube ham transmitter. The K1 module quickly installs into this rig. Gives you control via your microphone or use the stock plate toggle switch. I plan to explore other transmitter possibilities. If you have one in mind, contact me. More circuit boards have been ordered. If you need a module, I have them on hand.

Ever work,on a Johnson white face c.b radio,,when I was in my 20 ,s.I thought I new something about cb ,s ,and I thought I new something about resistors, neither were true ,I thought since.my white face radio got not I would help if by replacing all the resisters with metalized, film resistors, that would handle the heat better, that radio never worked again ,that was over forty years ago.I learn a lot since then ,but after forty years,I still have so much to learn and I have learn to take my time and try to no my limitations ,but am thankful we have good teachers like you

I actually know nothing about radios. I'm a guitar guy, I always enjoy watching these anyway. Of course the cameo appearances of snauzeramus make it all the more enjoyable. Good video Terry.

I feel like I gained some real (virtual) experience watching this, namely fitting sockets etc. into enclosures and using the right tools for the job. Common sense of course, but watching someone do it right is just good practice. Thanks. :)

I think this is a great idea. It will help a new ham get on the air with an affordable piece of radio history updated to a more modern standard. Can it be made (or modified) for CW keying also? Keep up the good work and great ideas!

I was into both ham and cb radio back in the 60's. Both were hugely popular then. With the advent of cell phones and the internet, is there still interest ?

We'll let you publish more videos on PTT if you deliver us your rendition of "It's Now Or Never" on that Elvis mike.
