I have the 30s for a primary carry but want the 36 for a back up . Good video I’m jealous the minute I see a 36 I’m getting it .. the 30s was hard to find also
I have a 30, which I thought was beefy to the point of being a little hard to carry all day, every day. Then I found a 30S, and it was a huge difference. I thought it was nirvana. But about three months ago, I found a G36. The unicorn itself. I wasn't shopping for one that day, and I even walked out of the store. And of course, I spun right around and went back in before the door had fully closed and got it. It is so much easier to wear IWB. And, being a Glock guy, I very much appreciate that commonality with all the other Glocks. For me, from 10mm down to the G43, they pretty much all feel the same because of the trigger, the group angle, and the manual of arms. In other words, it doesn't matter which Glock I'm carrying, or what caliber, I don't have to retrain, they all feel and shoot about the same for me. In the past, I have had the XDS 45, and a Shield 2.0 45. The XDS I just could not shoot. Good pistol, far as I could tell, but I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. The shield was wonderfully accurate, and very easy to carry, but the safety (which they didn't offer the no thumb safety when I got it, and even now the NTS versions are rare as hen's teeth) made it a no go for me because I'm a southpaw.). But this 36 has been flawless. The capacity, yes, is a bit of a trade off. But I usually carry a spare mag, anyway.
The best thing you can do for the Glock 36 is get a grip extension for the mag makes it much more comfortable so your hand doesn't feel so squished or awkward other than that I love mine
The United States army had a 45 ACP for over 75 years today clock makes several models Glock 21 is the largest 113 shot then you have the Glock 30 the 30 s is a lot better it's got the same slide has the Glock 36 in the video the best thing to do with it is to get night sights you could also put a light on it if you get the one that has the real on it the one in the video doesn't have the real on it also I like the Teflon grip get one for about on the 20 bucks if it's the whole grip even where your fingers go it gives it a better grip for you and the magazine if you're fussy get the pinky grip with the same design as the gun but don't put any tape on it just leave it the way it is you got yourself an excellent firearm 💯🇦🇹🇺🇲💯👍
I mostly carry Glock 19 or 26 but man I tell you the Glock 30 gen 4 is one accurate 45 and I have a weak spot for 45 ACP; however the big fat slide of the 30 definitely harder to conceal, therefore the Glock 30S or 36 is on my list for sure.
Glock still produces them. But with the current environment, most investors everywhere is low. My local stores can’t even tell me when they will get new inventory. Strange times with the pandemic.
I actually found one at my local pawn shop! bought a Springfield xdm elite 9mm and the glock 36 .45 acp but had to take it back & have them fix it since it’s having a trigger reset failure, luckily they’re fixing it free of charge, I’m ready to get it back; the glock felt far more better in my opinion!
Good review & advice. What do u think of 45 gap? Or 45 gap, baby glock (39), specifically compared to this, since you had it about the same time I’ve been alive, which is awesome!
Also you can buy a Glock 30 bottom that comes with the rail and use the Glock 36 slide there fore you have rail for laser / light & now have 3 magazine options 10,13,&27 😄
Concealed carry gun no thanks i would carry a small framed revolver in 357/38 too much can go wrong with those auto pistol that have one in the chamber no thanks
Comfort is key. I know a lot of folks that prefer smaller framed revolvers. Would you Want to see a video on the Kimber K6? That is a pretty nice option. I’ve been carrying semi auto for 23 years so it’s something I’m comfortable with. But you can’t argue with a solid smaller 357/38. Some great options out there.
Weapon...you can just call it a gun. “Stopping Power?” Please elaborate.😂 Did you say the Glock has a “double action” trigger pull??? Dude, this video is a total joke. Ya might wanna take down this video and redo it after you’ve taken a few classes!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I just can’t get my head wrapped around these people that talk about a particular weapon. Why why why would you have rounds in magazine. I’ve heard hey guys this is my EDC weapon it is loaded as you can see etc . For Christ Sake unload the god damn magazine.
A excellent video on the glock 36 gen2 if you could find one buy it they are hard to find 🇦🇹💯👍
That looks to be a Gen 3. The Gen 2 did not have the serrations on inside of grip.

never heard of someone referring to a glock trigger pull as double action. 5 pound trigger pull is far from double action.
Nice video! Any recs on a light/laser?
I was thinking a 27 guard but I don’t know if it would fit also tried my old laser max grip laser seemed a little to thick

I'm thinking of getting 1
"The chamber holds one round." As opposed to a chamber that holds more?
Ha, good point on the language. We should invent one that holds more than one round.
@@kentuckygunslingers Dr. Gatling invented a nice example.
@@asahoura2798 I dont know if that really counts though, that's 6 totally different firing mechanisms
I carry even my ar15 outside in my front yard 😎😎😎I ignore what the law says.
