    A lot of times what we call "fly aways" are really our hair. I make sure my stylist does NOT cut them or burn them. Everything else I loved

      I only allow mine to cut the lower sectors

    • @Jayariee
      @Jayariee 5 ปีที่แล้ว +52

      @Camille Paige No it isn't. You may be cutting some strands along the shaft which would make them shorter and your hair uneven. Also because of how fast most move the scissors aren't held properly causing damage/split ends

      Pattern and how you part I ALWAYS part the hair the same way with the same amount of braids if that . Only if they request they want it with a side part or them going back so that it’ll lay towards the back. I start in the back first and I always do 3 rows in the back then I do the window technique the last row I do 4 so I know the next row should at least be 5-6 parts because of the window technique and the next row should be about 6-7. Then I do the sides I do 2 rows on each side 3 in the first row 4 in the second so that I can have that window effect. Then I do the crown and have all those laying to the back I always part first I get about 4-5 rows out of the crown with about 3-4 braids in each row depending on clients head size. Medium takes me 31/2 hrs to do. The large /jumbo no longer than 2 hrs. I started off slow as a month went by I got faster and now I always make it my goal to get my clients in and out so I do about 4 heads a day if I’m doing the large/jumbo and 2 heads for medium

    I'm curious wouldn't you just use the hair you were braiding with at the beginning and make it long just like how you have it n then curl the ends instead of adding a different type of braid that has curls. To be it will be less of a hassle.
