I've logged countless hours here for the past three years and NEVER finished finding all the cats...what a doof. I stopped playing D2 when we first got to TDC and had 3 of those 'gifts' sat in my inventory ever since. just started playing again and happened across one of the cats. Didn't connect the two until i watched this. Still an awesome mix of good straight forward information with great humour. 😁

i was a little confused when you seemed to go from #5 to #7, skipping #6, but i backed up the video and found that you just forgot to update the bit showing the number in the bottom left during the #6 segment. Good video overall! I tried a different video first but it was crap, very confusing - i'm glad yours was the next one i tried. This video is still helpful in 2024, and also when the cats give weapons they're now the improved Season of the Wish versions.

By the way, Sausage, I noticed in another video that you are still picking up Rice Cakes on the Moon. I think that means that you haven’t completed the rabbit statues quest (eerily similar to this cat one). If you haven’t picked up any of those yet, give me a shout as there’s something cool you could do with a video on those. Cheers! McG.

For those coming to this late, you can start the hunt on one character and finish it on another. So I did 2 on hunter then 7 on warlock and got the emblem.

The Vouchsafe I got from Splicer (I am one now too XD) was a god roll, Explosive Shot and rapid hit, armor piercing. Best and most consistent scout I've gotten on game compared to the hung jury I got later.
My favorite one has Dragonfly with under pressure: nicely blobs rows of thralls into tiny black holes wiping their buddies out of existence. Super-spamming mayhem of Blind well seems so popular I'll be getting my rapid hit one eventually. Under pressure would actually fit extremely well with explosive rounds, since those kind of give you a free pass for not having to go for precison hits all the time.
For the small gifts, is it for sure once per character? I got it on my hunter then I switch to my warlock and it hasn't dropped for the couple of hours i was farming even though on my hunter it dropped real quick.

Just a quick question...I only had 7 small gifts in my inventory and i am rly struggling with getting new ones to drop...i did public events , lost sectors , wells...you name it - i've done it....not a single gift dropped on either of my characters and i have not done any activity beforehand in the dreaming city...so what am i doing wrong? :D ... any help would be greatly appreciated !
Sooo im returning since stopping at the end of forsaken & this item had been driving me batshit until i saw this video 😆. Destiny needs a life luxury patch where items have a stat window for data telling us exactly what it's for.....NOT JUST SMELLS LIKE MINT! 😆

I dont know if it caps out at 3 per character per week - so after reset on Tuesday you should be able to earn more

Yes you should get it to drop by doing stuff in the Dreaming City, opening Chests, Patrols that kind of thing
