Thanks For The Up & Close Memories, These Classic-House Tracks Really Take Me Back, I Feel 18 Again In 1987-1988, My First Time In New York City For Those Summers, Ah The Memories. Be Well...We Made It To 2010, 2011 Coming Too Soon Already!
hey im 21 now and have been into house seriously for about 3 yrs, i wish i was around or aware when this track was in its prime. Music today is NOTHING like this, beautiful, real. this beat is gold -house lives on-
Wow I love this song! I am a 26 yr old who cannot listen to new music, it is just noise :( If only there was a place to go and dance, that played classic songs such as this one- 90's dance music and some classic under-appreciated 80's jams!
Alot of People whereever you are in the world when House and Garage music was thumping claimed not to like it. Various peoples across the world that stated I NEVER liked it at the time stating that they PREFER HipHop,Rock ,Soul or Reggae music instead. However, secretly they did like this music, but would never come out & say it. That's why the music never took off as it did in Europe especially in the UK . I loved the other music mentioned above , but I love House music just as much
@GreggJulian - I think your right. What started with heaps of Soul, Funk and Jazz did to start to incoporate Trance like vibes into the Music. But those years from 1990 to about 1995 wow......
damn this is when I man the J-sette line in Jackson Ms. 1987 the org J-settes an trust we still can buck a number Jump start my heart... We can show this guys how to march Tip -toe ,, J-sette walk an the most of all Salt-an -Pepper
@redjam40 I think house music got "Villaged Peopled" so to speak. By 1993-1994 you started to get this really generic trance and tribal sound that took over and people started to associate it with the entire genre of house. Stuff like Hadaway and La Bouche were topping the dance charts in the states and the posers (Armand Van Heldon) took over. Kind of like disco. When the Village People became the face of Disco it was over.
