    A normal 1500-watt space heater will draw 12.5 amps when turned on HIGH, and if you are plugging into a 15-amp circuit in your house, you are close to that circuit threshold.

    I would like to know more about what you said about the putting 110 on both sides of that breaker and making 220 volts. I have a split phase inverter running my minisplit and a separate inverter running the rest of my camper. Could I have just ran 2 120 lines from my 120 inverter to my 220 minisplit and it worked? Or would I have just burnt something up or maybe it just not worked?

    • @Roll2Videos
      @Roll2Videos  ปีที่แล้ว

      I understand your thought process and thinking that way, but no, you will need two inverters set to split phase because they need to work together to create the 240 split phase.

    • @matthewknight5641
      @matthewknight5641 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Roll2Videos yeah the split phase sungold is running it perfectly but it's kinda a lot of watts running two inverters. I really wish I'd known and I'd have bought 1 large inverter to do it all. I'm running my camper on the 3000 powmr and the ac on the sungold. I just ordered lifepo4 cells to build a battery for the camper while the sungold will still be ran by the 24 leaf modules I have now. Can you recommend me a good bms for my 24 leaf cells that are in a 24 volt configuration? I've never had a bms before bit people say I need one especially on leaf cells cause they can catch fire.

      @@Roll2Videos I ordered a 300 Amp dally for the lifepo4 cells and ordered the cells from 18650 store. I am getting the 280 eve cells. But yes if you could recommend a good bms that will work for leaf cells that would be great. I'm not sure if a regular dally can be configured to the voltages of the leaf cells. Any help with this is greatly appreciated

    If you would have had two Rich Solar inverters in parallel split phase, how would you have handled the ground neutral bonding in each of the inverters?

    • @Roll2Videos
      @Roll2Videos  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question. First, I'm not an electrician, and I am not certified or trained in this field, FYI.
      These inverters create their neutral ground bond (test your units); I would leave them to do that. Yes, there will be two neutral ground bonds, but it will make the path back to the circuit breaker.

      Also, Look at buying an EG4. Way much simpler to hookup and run

      Ah got it, would you say that you’ve had any issues with static build up or dissipation of charge? I only ask because there’s a huge debate on forums as to whether or not these systems should be grounded in homes and more specifically RV chassis for campers builds.

    • @Roll2Videos
      @Roll2Videos  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@marklemus7864 I never had any issues. Next time I will be connected to the main that way my grounding would come from that.

    • @jameshughes131
      @jameshughes131 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@marklemus7864it's not wise. The floating ground is dangerous. These growatts are not designed for that and can and will cause hotskin conditions. If the ground outside RV is wet and you touch metal RV and your barefoot it can kill you if you have current running through trailer or the metal siding.

      @@Roll2Videos Awesome thank you. Also, is there any reason you needed the inverter turned on when doing the continuity check? My understanding is that the multimeter would send voltage across the circuit and give you a 1 if it was a closed loop, so I don't see why you'd need current running through it?

    Rich solar does dynamic NG bonding?

    • @Roll2Videos
      @Roll2Videos  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, When you are in grid mode the N+G is allowed to happen at the main panel. But then this is an issue if you have 2 units in split phase because you will end up with 2 N+G in each unit in inverter mode 🤔

    • @todamnbad
      @todamnbad 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Roll2Videos I run two growatt lvm-es in split phase but had to remove both NG bond screws, still get some current on ground, seems the only fix is to run a wire from the AC neutral in to AC neutral out to create a common neutral, growatt has no idea why I get current on ground and so far have been no help, signature solar support is of no help either.
