Mannnn the 100 was on tonight ….. they sound good and kept energy all the way until the end Nice switch up with the format ….. the sound was SUPER CLEAN 10/10
AWESOME job 100!!! Definitely a stepped up performance with more drill complexity & precision, better clarity in the sound, improved precision from the flag core and I LOVED the drumline feature added!!! We should definetely continue and expand that component! Finally, dance routine was HIGH ENERGY and precise, best I've seen this year!!! Kudos Marching 100, job WELL DONE! I am a PROUD music department & University alumni!!! 💪🏽🧡🐍💚💪🏽
Oh wow, I cannot tell a lie, FAMU surely dished out an incredibly amazing show. And the execution of the transitions were so orderly. Everybody knows I prefer bands who transitions on the field in an orderly manner. I loved it! The sound, the drill, the DM’s, and Flags were all well on point. NCAT put on a good show, but between both bands performances, FAMU definitely outperformed NCAT. Well done FAMU Marching 100, Director and the Staff. 👍🏽 🔥🔥

Florida A&M song selections won them the crowd. Plus their songs was much more dynamic. They sounded like a Big 10 band. Their arranger was more complex. The polyphony was really nice on “ Can we Talk. They danced and played and A&T didn’t. Choreography is a HBCU thing going back to the 1960’s.
FAMU and NCAT shows were great. The marching and musicality were amazing. The SWAC culture is too much defined by blaring, loud brass and risqué dancers in the stands versus the emphasis being on field shows. The crowd and the masses love it…. I DO TOO❤😊, but these are MARCHING BANDS and not pep bands where emphasis is placed on “hype” from the stands. FAMU will NEVER fully subscribe to the SWAC “battle mentality” from the stands. Their legacy and influence as the originators is unapologetically WHO THEY ARE🤷🏾♂️ The Maestro/THE LAW - William P. Foster made sure the standard of EXCELLENCE would never be deviated from.💯
You do know there is a difference between a battle of the bands and a band competition. When you in high school you have band competitions which include drills and etc but if you are doing a band battle thats suppose to be done in the stands and centered around the fans. You can not have a band of the year competitions but solely judge off of drills?

@@MrsNaturallyEJHalo Say it again for the people in the back sis! Though we respect all flag squads and their unique styles, one thing we’re going to do is stick to our own Flag Corps style.
