The A-frame build- framing the deck!

in this video we frame the deck and discuss the process- my son Austin and son-in-law Rob jumped in and helped on this one. I ran up this morning to do a quick video before we cover it up with flooring.

Solid work but you need better beam to post connections. The post should have been notched or some hardware connectors used.

work'n on the 4th :) . . . why does that deck look like it's lean'n back into the frame? i listened and heard you say you lowered it for the threshold. . . but surely you kept it level or tilted away? i'm positive it was the camera angle and my messed up eyes and i tried to listen again but didn't hear anything . . .and my ocd wouldn't let me carry on without asking :) nice job though hope'n to do some of that super soon myself :)

it's level - just a bit below the floor level of the house..
