If your Purple Heart plant's roots are mushy, remove the plant and trim away the rotten parts with clean scissors. Let the healthy roots dry for a few hours, then repot in fresh, well-draining soil with a pot that has drainage holes. Water sparingly, only when the top inch of soil is dry. 🌱
I’m sorry, obviously it was too late, they are very drought tolerant, but you will know for the next one, it’s worth, they are very easy to care and beautiful. Are there any stems that are still alive?
