Just to clarify the idea that serums such as hyaluronic acids or snail mucin pull water out of the skin if applied dry isn't exactly true :-) the formulas of these products are mostly water so the ingredients that you'd be worried about pulling water of the skin (which is hyaluronic acid) would not be able to do that due to the high moisture content of the serum itself!

Buy the water molecules in the formulas are probably already bound to something in that gel-like structure, and I'd guess they can only put so much water in it as well...

You can use it twice or once a week, before going to sleep with moisturiser or in your morning skincare with moisturiser and spf then you'll see it's working just fine. It's just that You've to use it less if it's breaking you out. Sometimes it's not the product, it's the way you're using it. Hope it helps.♡♡

I've been using snail mucin for YEARS but I'm allergic to dust 😂 even if it causes some blemishes, the plump is worth it. But maybe I'll cut it out for a week and see what happens.

Try reducing it's usage at first. Do it in alternative days. Apply a layer of moisturizer or any protective serum then apply vitamin c on your face. You can use it in the morning and pair it off with an spf, this is a potent way of slowing down ageing too.
It gave me a glowing skin for 5 days and then an allergic reaction, bumps all over my face, acne breakouts, consulted a derm 15 days ago, still taking medicine, still not healed…it’s getting worse

Currently the bump look noticeably calmer in which before i can see that some of the bump has kinda white substance in it but the white in it now gone and the bump looks more like textured skin but havent dissolve yet. I only put it once, not sure whether i want to use the snail again after this :(

I have a random new breakout, but it’s not in a weird spot. I can’t tell if this product is helping yet. It’s only been 4 days. So far my skin has been extremely hydrated and smooth, but I also have sensitive skin, so I have to be careful. I live in AZ, so I have to keep my skin SUPER hydrated. So when i tried a missha snail product i was sooo sad that it broke me out cause it was suppose to be this amazing thing and i couldnt find any bad reviews or reasons for the breakout until i stumbled upon an obscure comment on some reddit thread that mentioned they were allergic to x y z and therefore reacted to snail mucin too. So i knew then it wasnt some purge that people say happens with new products it was bad. Also niacinamide and other humectants obviously dont do well here but theyre in everything! Plus the cosrx birch or maybe willow moisturiser i think anyway i guess my hayfever/pollen or some allergy i have of which i have many reacted to birch because same thing happened angry skin! And sad me. Also the beta glucagen iunik does. Didnt realise it was the culprit til i stocked up so now ive got 2 new bottles and a half full one 😢 should really be skincare exchanges locally for women. If you use that idea i want shares and profits lol.

Try Innisfree green tea seed serum or Anua heart leaf soothing toner, these 2 have no drastic change but it does not irritate my skin when i had some skin problem. These 2 are too light for dry skin so u should put some cream or oil after this product. I usually put Laneige water sleeping mask or illiyoon ceramide cream. I personally recommend using Anua toner and illiyoon cream.

If you've breakout then don't use that. It's mildly exfoliating, maybe you never tried exfoliating your skin before. So you got acne. It will go away with time and try opting for herbal remedies.

u aren’t using it wrong but if ur allergic to shell fish and dust mites u might be allergic to snail mucin or it can break u out .

Strangely I am highly allergic to shellfish to the point I get anaphylaxis shock but it has helped me so far clear my skin

Well is it showing up on your normal spots mostly ? If it is mostly where you normally get acne then you are probably purging
