You can't beat the beautiful vocals of Eydie Gorme. Both Eydie and Steve really complemented each other. I would have really loved to have seen them live.

These two were total showman.. Saw them many times.. never disappointed.. and most of the time, all new material.. they did not repeat that much stuff.. and their comic material was a riot too.. could hold an audience for 1.5 hours.. made it look so easy..

I regret not seeing Steve & Edyie in 1984. I laughed at the thought of going to that corny show when I saw the advertisement in the local newspaper. This telethon show was at that time and they were excellent form. Ironically,I remember watching the Jerry Lewis Telethons for hours on end, late until the evening as you never knew, who what, or when to expect whom. We are lucky this was taped because I don’t think I have ever seen a dvd or compilation of the great acts that appeared locally or nationally over the Telethon decades. Jerry Lewis put a lot of effort into these telethons.

Mr. Lewis had a way of speaking extemporaneously, selling a performer or segment with passion and sincerity. He really sold it. Then, closed the deal. Steve and Eydie Rocked! LOL. Thanks for sharing

The best male/female singing duo of all time!! Both were great single singers as well. Too bad we do not have this type of show biz anymore. . We are left with RAP CRAP - animal "music" performed by animals. What a disgrace to the human race. The sad thing is, THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At this point in their careers, Steve and Eydie had been performing this song for nearly thirty years! They were pros who always delivered. Now that's talent! LOL.

Atlantic City awesome, I came of age just at the right time. We only had 5 or 6 casinos and it was ten times busier. Everything was class pomp and red carpet. I was a chauffeur at Caesars that year....what a blast. I have driven todays celebs and yesterdays, Todays, dont even come close. wish i could time travel.

Steve & Eydie were loyal friends to Jerry and the the telethon all through the years. These people were true stars and used their celebrity to help others, all three of them were great humanitarians. The performers of today are selfish and self centered and could learn a lot about giving back. Sorry for the rant sad about Eydie and still furious about the lowlifes at the MDA for what they did to Jerry.

I totally agree. This is the way entertainers used to be great, well dressed, respectful and so was the audience you got you,re money,s worth and then some. This is the last of the great Tuxedo and Evening Gown Acts. What has happened to this world doesn,t anyone care anymore??? Are you kidding me what kind of people have we become Go figure???!!!!

I remember as little girl watching with so much compassion and tears flowing from my heart.wishing everyone would love and respond to those that have a different set of needs . I prayed for diversity and inclusion for all of Gods children to have the best possible experience in life. I realize soon that I wanted to be a special Education teacher at a tender age. Also I knew that it takes certain dedicated individual to understand and teach them how to adapt to their environment,Steve and Eydie performance at the telethon to raise for those who live with cerebral palsy. Fast forward twenty five years later,I had a Son born at 26 weeks gestation due to his premature birth caused a inter ventricular brain hemorrhage .The vessel’s being so underdeveloped
