Dal Gosht or Daal Gosht - is one of the very popular Mutton/Chicken Recipes in Pakistan and India. It is basically a mutton/chicken simmered with spices, mixture of toor dal, chana dal and masoor dal, or just any either of them.
1 cup = 250 ml
Ingredients:
Chicken 500 g
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
11/2 tbsp ginger paste
11/2 tbsp garlic paste
3/4 cup chana dal ( 150 g )
1/3 cup laal masoor dal ( 75 g )
1/3 cup tuwar daal ( 75 g )
or
11/2 cup chana dal ( 300 g )
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 kg lauki ( bottle gourd )
1/2 cup oil
2 onions ( 1 cup )
2 bay leaves
2 inch cinnamon stick
1 tsp fennel seeds
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp kasuri methi
1 tsp pepper corn
coriander leaves
green chillies
mint leaves
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp ghee/oil
2 tbsp onion
2-3 red chillies
