- Welcome back to another RUMBLE VR VIDEO! Today we jump headfirst into some EARTHBENDING PVP against my friend @FNH8iT! This is by far one of the coolest and smoothest Earthbending VR games I have played to date. The more and more I play it makes we want to master the techniques that much better. It has such an addicting playstyle to it.

Imagine they added the other elements, such as fire, water and air, and you're able to switch between the different elements by striking the specified pose for that attack style. Now THAT will spice it up beyond recognition.
True but I think that each player should choose a element at the beginning before match making so you have to be on your toes cuz you never know what the other person’s element is
dude water would probably both be the hardest and most cool to pull off, like the ability to redirect your opponents attack could be amazing
@@bobofreddy1171 I agree, being only able to pick one element for a match would be akin to picking a class in an rpg. It would definitely get stale if everyone can do everything in a match, if not insane to remember all the move sets from all the different elements while under pressure.

My god, just watching a few minutes of the actual PVP makes it look so fun, I'm definitely buying. I feel like there will be a very high ceiling for learning too.
Oh you don’t even know yet. This is (I’d say) like medium gameplay. The high tier moves make this unbelievable
Definitely does took an hour to learn the first 3 moves entirely
I wish they would add it for the regular quest other games look boring now
God damn, I really wish the devs would be open to doing the other elements, at least fire. Even still, they have something really great here, and I will definitely be having the time of my life flinging stones at people.
Just the fact they focused so heavily on this element goes to show how good something can be with the amount of time and polishing they put in. Don't get me wrong I'd love a full blown element game but as of the moment that would just be incredibly difficult to master with the 4 people that worked on this game
Perhaps if we give them enough praise they'll go further, haha

I think because they made this game with the intention of it only being earthbending, the other elements would be really difficult to balance, but man I would fucking love the devs of this to make a pro bending game.
this reminds me of Pro Bending from Legend Of Korra
if they made a probending game I dont think they could get me out of VR
id love to see this evolve into the 3 on 3 probending game
I really hope this comes to Quest 2 sometime. Some of the moves you were doing seemed awesome- I can only imagine if your good enough at the movements, you can launch yourself up and send a storm of discs straight at your opponent.
only thing is that you cannot cast any earthbending if you are not in contact with the ground. So as much as I wish I could shoot like an apache helicopter the only thing that is possible currently is doing drive by shots with the dashing

This is the first good non-gun pvp vr game and it looks FREAKING AWESOME

This is some great fighting! Your straight>kick is really smooth XD
Just to mention some fun early things you can do, disc can be affected by other moves if you're fast enough
Disc>straight makes it nearly impossible to react to
Disc>ground allows you to mix up your disc usage and have it slide under lots of other moves
For higher ranks:
Disc>hold is also a great mix up option and is quieter than ground if your opponent has lost visual.
Disc>explode is an easy way to unground other structures.

dude there is so many things to learn and I'm just learning how to cast the techniques haha. I can't wait to grind the game and find out all the new things to do
@@AwakenToast there's so much! I got 30 hours in the beta and I've already got a lot in this early copy and I'm still learning new things
what if you raised a pillar thru it up and snuck a disc under that would be cool
@@biggs7109 that's fun! I'll usually do that if an opponent has a structure in front of them. Wait for them to kick it up to try and move it forward and I'll slide a disc right under
I wonder if people are gonna make an air/water/fire bending mod for this game

Earthbending was always my favorite bending style, and this looks like a ton of fun
This is already very cool - I can't imagine what stuff like this is going to be like in a few years. I hope VR slowly pushes on this time with the Q2, Pico 4, PSVR2 and next year's Q3 and perhaps Valve's new headset coming along. Y'know... despite the current economical climate... and chip issues and all that.
This game is amazing! You both are great at it. The mechanics seem very fun

Ngl this is actually kinda good exercise for martial arts. Like doing a set of moves and memorizing. VR really is the future of fun and practicality 😂

just keep in mind that it's not CERTAIN it will ever have a quest release but I'm hoping that one day it does get a optimized quest port to bring this incredible game to that community

I mean, this is the end, we cant go any further with this kind of game, if someone makes this game in 45 years it will be the same only with full body tracking and haptic sensors, but thats it

They need to use the eyetracking for actual aiming. The disks just shoot at a set height and travel a predetermined path, make it predictable, easy to dodge and not really fun.
You should adjust your shot. Everything has a pattern and when you find the movement patterns of your Opponent you should be able to adjust your shots to make him run into your shots.
I feel like the pvp has potential but right now is very slow. I feel like it needs more mobility and heavier punches. Combos to launch things further would also do a lot instead of just throwing as much as you can down range and hoping it hits
Kiaiing will probably help you given how similar these motions are to actual Tai-Kwon-Do. Try it
they need all the other elements too, someone needs to make the legend of kora shit lmao

I hope they can fix the pose responsivness for rift users, i tried the game last night and i could barely use most of the techniques.

This game is basically who can do the most squats
LMAO but still they even have balance to that as you can't cast any earthbending if you are crouched. So it helps with dodging but they have enough balance in the game to keep people from doing it all the time. Also depending on the attacks you use you can easily break a player who is in a crouch position. It's pretty legit

@@AwakenToast True but now they have a framework to build off of. They should only have to change a few graphics and mechanics. Still a lot of work but less than if they were starting from scratch.

I was playing this with my friend last night but we couldn't figure out how to do these normal arena fights, we could only play each other in the park. Do you just have to keep joining random matches until you join your friend or is there some way that I am missing?
