I’m starting to get tired of all this talk. When Al Davis you used too talk about his raiders you never heard people say the raiders don’t win games because of Al. The cowboys (the football team) have no identity on offense or defense, are not disciplined, and have a quarterback who can’t perform in the playoffs, even with all the weapons he has. Lebron by himself had a light on him his whole career, and he still performed, no matter the noise coming from outside. The players have to get a backbone and play, and ignore the noise. At the end of the day you guys play football, not a media game do play

As a Broncos fan with no sarcasm intended the Cowboys are the biggest winners. No team gets the airplay that the cowboys get without progressing in the playoffs. They always dominate topics on these shows due to their fans providing the most lucrative market. As someone who lives 30 minutes from The Star in Frisco TX, we’ve all known this. The practice facility literally has tours and anyone has access to an NFL teams facility. I’m actually going to a lounge called Concrete Cowboy there tomorrow night😂 It’s insane that it’s not closed off

Dallas was fast horses that could win races they wasn’t the prettiest. Now they are the prettiest horses that can finish 3 or 4th.
The real shift happened when Jimmy Johnson left. Jerry was still a young owner and while Dallas was box office, Jimmy kept the focus on FOOTBALL. As soon as he left, Jerry had unchecked power, and the priority became satisfying his ego. Per Troy Aikman: “In 94, we weren’t as good as we were in 93. In 95 we won the sb but we were worse than we were in 94.” It’s been downhill ever since.
They had all that talent and they only managed to win for 6 years. A pretty weak dynasty if you ask me

As a Cowboys fan I agree with Dalton Schultz because it's true. But here's the thing James Jones when you were playing for Mike McCarthy y'all had a bunch of killer's during that Super Bowl run with players like Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson, Donald Driver, Greg Jennings, James Stark, Ryan Grant, Jermichael Finley, Clay Matthews, A.J. Hawk, Nick Collins, Ryan Pickett, Sam Shields, Charles Woodson, the list goes on.
Finley, Grant and Tauscher were injured earlier in the season and didn’t play during the playoff run. That team was special tho. Don’t forget Jenkins, Raji, Williams and that O-line were big factors as well. I was glad that Clifton and Tauscher got their rings before retirement.
If that is how it is then it is no surprise that they haven't won a SB in recent years - you have to have a level of professionalism where once you are in the facility training there can be absolutely no distractions of any kind going on in or around the team.
Have to say this is a culture led and cultivated by Jerry and until he changes (not very likely given how successful the business side of the Cowboys are) I don't see them winning another SB, he has his fingers in everything about the team which hampers the coach from doing his job and that is not what an owner should be doing.

Were not Americas team because of what happen in the 90s. There were only three teams that were on television in the 70’s. The Cowboys was one of them and also we had a Quarterback that went to Vietnam and came back and played. After Bradshaw did that and winning two super bowls during that era, The cowboys started to get Notoriety. Then Jerry came in the 80s and boosted the Cowboys up another level, Cementing us as Americas team by winning three more Super bowls.

Dallas had the advantage of a rich owner in the presalary cap era. Easy to win when you can outspend everyone. Now the salary cap era evens the playing field so Dallas and San Fran no longer have the money advantage. Now management and drafting play a bigger piece in winning and separate the contenders to the pretenders.
