Wonderful Joe. A great public service educating all of us prior to the launch. It really is a scenic and peaceful place... until all you-know-what breaks loose when those Raptor engines ignite. Hope you brought ear protection... I'll be watching a lot of TH-cam that day, for sure. Can't wait for your next video!!! SoCalFreddy
Thanks Frederic! I agree the sound of 33 raptors at 90% power will be awesome. I hope the visuals are equally fantastic too. Just got to get Starshjip to cooperate and launch!
If you look on the rocky beach you can see ***** in space sitting on the rocks below the statue thank You so much Joe wish I was down there with you !!!
Hello Joe, Good luck with your stay, I know there are a lot of factors to having the Starship launch on Monday or Tuesday It would be so good for you to be there. Thank you for your outstanding coverage of the Teasl build site and all your youtube videos. Keep well, keep safe and find a great location for the amazing event.
Thanks so much for those wonderful vista's of Starbase and the island. I hope air flights from Australia will be back to normal soon so we can come and stay to see a future launch.
Do you think it would be possible for you to fly the drone while Starship is launching? Or I guess you might want to witness it as close as you can but that would be an epic view.
Are you far enough away in the unfortunate event of an accident? Considering Starship has a capacity for 1,200 tons of propellant! And the booster has a capacity for 3,400 tons of propellant! In any case, stay safe.
Great aerial footage of the Starbase and surrounding area. Very pretty! Thanks Joe!
Thank you Jim and glad to be able to share the sights around Starbase. Hoping for a launch soon!
THANKS JOE , FOR SHARING THIS…WE WILL WAIT FOR YOUR VIDEOS AND ELLIE’s REPORTS 🤗😊💚💚💚
Merci👍👍👍

Wonderful video. Much appreciated. Thanks for the voice over, it really helps.
You're welcome Ron!
Not used to drone flights without views of excavators, cranes and model Ys. Thanks Joe enjoy down there.
Thanks D J!
The calm before the storm... although hopefully no _actual_ storm comes lol
Flew down in Dec 2020 to watch SN8. It was AWESOME!!! Great place to watch from. Thanks Joe
You're welcome BPO!
Enjoy the launch for use can't wait to see it
I'm hoping to see it too ... destacking the ship last night is a great indicator that SpaceX is trying hard to get this to launch next week!
Great work, as usual, from the one and only Joe Tegtmeyer!
Thanks Ismail!
nice looking area, better than a wet and windy UK. Hope you and Ellie have a great time.
Thanks Andrew!

Nice place to be. Thanks for sharing! You do such a great job.
You're welcome!

I hope you can get here, especially while everything is so open and accessible at Starbase.
Great drone shots, Joe!!
Thank you!
Is that Ellie with the crutches sunning on the rocks at 9:20?
Awesome
Excellent Views! Way to Go Joe! Thanks!😁
Thank you Mark!
Hopefully in a week or so you can document some history.
I hope so too!
Great
I’ll be there in a few days!
Hope to see you here!
ty joe..gotta fly
Is flying a drone at the park there allowed during launch time as well?
I think so ... it is out of the no fly zone.
Ellie, for sure!

oy, the hand waving.
2:17 I remember the early starhopper days when this area was quite a mystery.
👍
Nice footage, can you fly the drone over the shipping channel and film the south bay?
I think I went as far as I'd like to go without pushing boundaries too much.
Light that thing already! Joe needs to get back to Austin. Have you seen his lawn? 😊
Very true!

The exclusion zone is 5 miles and this park is just past that distance.
nice video. if you say "is" "la" it's more like spanish "is" "la" blanca park. 😀
4:00 Is that a fish or dolphin that jumps out of the water?
Dolphin!
Got to your channel via Ellie in Space channel. Two great channels, she’s way! Prettier than you though.
Thanks!
Looks like a whale in the water at 4:02
Ii was a Dolphin ... there are boat tours to go Dolphin watching in this area.
