I know how you feel! It seemed like I held my breath when my 3 went to college and could only get a soothing deep breath as they walked through the door during their breaks. Oh how I longed for them at home. They’ve now moved on to careers and recently new grand babies.. I’m almost never home now, just long extended time traveling to them and wearing out my welcome, lol. I wouldn’t have it any other way. When you are with your children, life is beautiful, so enjoy every minute Mama.🫶
You could plant Spanish lavender garden over your septic bed, attract bees for tree, crop to harvest, colour for front of house and less grass to maintain.
Isn't Spanish lavender a bit invasive though? They crept into my grandma's lemon trees once and were choking them up. Took my grandpa hours to prune them back if he wasn't vigilant in making sure they didn't spread into the trees. They were pretty and smelled great tho.
What a sweet sweet face Violet has! Great brisket, straight legs... her dam is stunning! We did creeping thyme. It started slow, with daily watering, but now it covers a good area, smells great, feeds the bees....
You could get one of Crystal’s BCDG silver bucklings from this year’s breeding that she had! Idk if they’re still available but they sure are handsome little guys! 🩶
An avocado tree won't produce fruit until it's 7 years old. What a beautiful little doeling she will be a lovely addition to your herd. So nice to see all your family home together. I love your orchard.
Danelle, do you and Kevin ever sleep? (just kidding) It really is amazing how much you guys do! Goats, chickens, a peacock, fruit trees, a vegetable garden, a wide range of fruit trees, laundry, cooking, cleaning, teaching classes, making cheese. The list is extensive! And you are mindful of your health. You two are driven, creative, environmentally mindful, funny, and authentic. I appreciate you.
Congratulations on welcoming Violet! She is absolutely beautiful 😍 The kids (human and goats haha!) are so funny, glad you have them home for the summer 😊
Oh, what a nice surprise at the end! Of course I'm going to watch that! But also genuinely thrilled to see the new baby and all the other babies! I love how she's immediately introduced to the tyres. She's a very pretty girl, and what a perfect name to be Wednesday's buddy. Also, I love the mini orchard -- you're right to keep it away from your septic tank, it's never fun when those break. But as for the trees themelves, you have such a wonderful variety -- blackberries don't ripen until much later in the year, here in Ireland, but I suppose I'm not that surprised that they'd come into season differently in Arizona. Also, if do you do anything with the vineleaves (grape, not blackberry, I'm not completely unhinged, honest!).
Violet's body shape is perfection! I also love her color! I'm a sucker for golden color with pink nose. So cute!!! Also mmm mmm that recipie looks so dang good!!!!!
Congrats on your new addition to your herd, little Violet. Also there is a soft shell almond that is easy to shell with the fingers, my grandfather had a soft shell almond tree in his orchard.
Violet is so pretty and seems very sweet! Poor thing was like a new freshman halfway through the school year lol!! Hopefully her and Wednesday will be buddies! Also, I’d call that a proper orchard! I wish I could grow oranges and peaches! Might be able to get away with peaches but definitely not oranges. My husband would love to grow kiwi.
Your fruit tree look so good If I lived next door I would be stilling some fruit. I would put a note on trees telling you thank you for them The baby goat is so sweet and cute .My daughter has a English bull dog that the same name as your goat the new baby. Love to watch.
Hi Danelle and family! Thanks for sharing the goings on at your little farm. Love it when you post. SUGGESTION: I noticed someone suggested BCDG to look for a new buck. I also would suggest that. Also, I have been following Shawn at Zion Creek Farm in Ohio. And he has some gorgeous bucks this year. And are very very flashy too. They are all registered. And he takes great care of his herd. Good Luck!
That look like an awesome dinner. And your new dorling . She looks so cute. And her chest nut coat is so beautiful and shinny too. And best of luck with her too. All my 💕🥰❤️🤗💖 to all.
I LOVE all your fruit trees!! I'm so jealous of all those blackberries...I LOVE them so much!!!! Violet looks like the perfect new addition to the herd!! 💜😊💜
Well Hello Violet! You got the spa treatment! How nice! We’re glad you’re now at a very special little goat farm! You will be very well loved and taken care of! Looking forward to watching you grow!
Little Violet is adorable, of course! And I don't know if you have any of the genetics in your herd, BUT Blue Cactus Dairy Goats has several adorable bucklings for sale. I'm certain you're aware of them, since you do the shows and everything and y'all are both in Arizona but just thought I'd let you know in case you might be in the market for a Blue Cactus buck. Good luck to Kiwi hatching out some goslings! And I had to laugh out loud at the little goat antics - getting stuck in a bucket! OMG... LOL
A Wayfaring Stranger daughter, nice! I am actually waiting to see if his littermate sister has a buckling for me next month. Congratulations on the new addition, she looks great!
She look like sweet napoleon,we miss napoleon❤❤❤❤❤😢congrats on violet🎉 , I love how kiwi is staring into zee ABISS😂😂😂😂😂😂 YALL MAKE WAY FOR LUNA , me to luna: YASS QUEEN STRUT YOUR STUFF😂😂😂 you guys be careful of buckets there fiesty🤣🤣
Ooh I wonder if you could have some standing flower pots over your septic tank area in the front so it’s not bare and open, maybe that’s still not allowed but just a fun idea! 🌹🌸🌺
Violet is so cute! She has the sweetest face. I planted a mini mulberry, but our 6 month old Goldendoodle dug it up and destroyed it. Now I just have my kumquat tree and my fig left. I'm getting another mulberry, though, and maybe a Meyer lemon.
4:23 that one chicken’s hilarious clucking noises gave me the best giggle fit that I’ve had in a while, thanks for having that chicken in your video 🐓😂
OMG, she's precious! Gorgeous gold kid. 😍 shes going to be perfect! Congrats on her! Im super jealous, even though I have a cream that's technically gold 🤣(can’t wait to watch this).
I was watching a guy who specializes in avocados. He said if you don't have both female and male, just gently shake the tree everyday when it flowers and it will produce
When I raised my geese I used your nose pinch trick to keep them from biting us. It worked really well. I also spent so much time interacting with them daily. In my opinion, if you’re going to have little ones around, have the kiddos interact with the geese as often as they can from day 1. That way the children don’t fear the birds and the birds don’t react with aggression every time they see a child. It also helps if you need to pick them up or herd them. From my experience, of course.
Kevin!! I absolutely cannot believe you didnt crack a dad joke.. hey you look a little pail...
😂😂😅
DaNelle! You are glowing, with your new goat and the kids home too! So happy for you all to be together 😍
Thank you! I love when they’re here at home!

Yo! What up!
Maybe get one from Crystal from the new buck she got last year . He's a silver buck and he threw some nice kids . He's a grand champion .

What an adorable new baby! She was hungry! 😋
Bringing food in from the yard is the best!

I was watching a guy who specializes in avocados. He said if you don't have both female and male, just gently shake the tree everyday when it flowers and it will produce
I thought to actually produce Avocado you need 2 different kind of species no?
What a fun video, I love your front orchard. Awwww a fresh fruit salad sounds amazing. You all are the best. Love your videos so much.
