Ama,I would not doubt you, Kumasi is the centre of Ghana and farmers and fisherfolks bring their products to Oseikrom for sale hence foodstuffs are very cheap.
Nice very similar to our market here in Jamaica only much bigger. I always heard Ghana is very much the same like Jamaica only bigger and I love seeing my people and they are the majority not like America and Canada which I'm familiar with. Can't wait to touch down on the motherland Alkebulan and I know other people as well who's wish is to return home. Queen Jasmine keep up the good work keeping us informed much love from Jamaica 🇯🇲❤🇸🇳
AGAIN THANKS FOR BRINGING MY CITY TO ME IN ABROAD, I ❤ IT AND I CAN'T WAIT TO 🇨🇦 ✈️ 🇬🇭 TOUCH DOWN OSEIKROM ...FOR SOME REASON I NEVER LIKED ACCRA BUT ALWAYS ♥️ KUMASI 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👍
Ghana is not that expensive as I hear people complain. The naira cedi equivalent are same or expensive in Lagos here. That bottle of red oil is 1000 naira, the onion is around 600 naira, an egg is 150 naira.
@@JasmineAmaa Jasmine! while you're in Kumasi please go and interview Dawn Southerland of Bridge-To Africa Connection. Just ask around. She is an African American woman who is helping students get their education.
Excellent video Jasmine. The market was a dream, so well organised and appeared very clean. Congratulations Kumasi !!! Bitters 😅😅😅, where did she say her bar was located 😂😂😂❤.

I know Tema very well and love the place but it will be an error for any one t compare Tema to Kumasi lol..thing is to see Kumasi very well you should know which areas and the sort of things to do.
Hi Jasmine 👋🏾 I just watched the video with my dad here in Canada. We are all from Kumasi and Asante Region originally. My dad is 82 yrs old and he was shocked to see the ripe Plantain being boiled to eat with stew. He said that never in his life he has seen that in Asante cooking...it's only fried when it's that ripe. He is going to question momma about it when she gets home he said.
Well just about an hour ago I was torn between either boiling or frying some ripe plantain....well I gave in to the frying 😂....Enjoyed it well with some beans.
Eish My baby turn celebrity be that oo. But I can't believe my mother in law hid "sore meso" from me 😢😂😂 My financial hack is to have a business in Accra but spend my money in Kumasi. This video just got me home sicker 😅😅😅 Thanks once again Jas.
Great vid. Kumasi's market is way too busy for my taste. Nevertheless, you weren't kidding about the cheaper prices in Kumasi compared to Accra. You certainly get more for your money. Of course the food looks and tastes good because a West African Auntie made it. Of course it wouldn't be a Ghanaian dish without boiled eggs. LOL 😆😂🤣 The Ghanaian auntie talking about alcohol is a vibe!
You didn’t tour even 2% of the market 😲😌. My dear I think you can make more content from the Kejetia market. Like asking for prices of some of the kente and other African prints andbtne numerous things sold there
Thank you for sharing this Kumasi market #1 please ask Abina to have her thyroid checked. She appears to have an enlarged goiter in the front of her neck.
I tell you ...that thing reminds me of some workers I had some few years ago ...they would always use that and a couple of other roots and herbs for bitters and take it during lunch time.

He must have been hurt. But God dey. Thanks to him for thinking of the citizenry. Now Ministers can't even name projects done under their stewardship. Interesting. Lovely video Jasmine as usual. @ernestkwame2344 unfortunately, some Ghanaians are soo slow that they will give credit to a president when he used our money to do it or loans that the country will Pay for. Do they know how much gold they take from Ashanti region? This is far from enough.😢

Kumasi is cozy and practical. Accra is more unban but noisy and exaggerated. Lol
It looks like the meal was enjoyed by all. Kumasi seems like a great alternative to the bustling Accra (the Atlanta of Africa). BTW, great video!
🥰
Kumasi is much better than Accra in terms of cost of living
Good Work. Enjoy the food. $10 that's very cheap wow

Things in Accra are expensive cuz u can’t compare what u buy in Lagos to what u buy in osogbo hope u understand
Accra is expensive but not the whole Ghana
People in Accra wake up and just price. I love Kumasi because it's affordable and queen mothers at the market control prices.
@@News_Vibes_Click. Kumasi is not a small town. It it the second capital. More like Lagos . Accra is like Abuja

Red plantain is a dollar each in my area.
The whole bunch was 15 to 20 cedis in Kumawu around December to February. I don't know about now but it's pretty cheap in Ashanti region.
