I HAVE A 03 FUCUS SE 2.0 DOHC (ZETEC) I WISH MINE WAS A SVT.I KNOW MINE CALLS FOR IRIDIUM PLUGS..I BOUGHT A SET OF OVERPRICED MOTORCRAFT IRRIDIUM PLUGS FRM AUTOZONE & IN UNDER 10K MILES I REMOVED THEM JUST TO SEE HOW THE LOOKED & THE #1 PLUG WAS CRACKED-JUNK.IM TRYING TO SAVE 4 A TURBO KIT & HOPING 2 BORE OUT MY ZETEC GO WITH A LIGHTWEIGHT ROTATING ASSEMBLY & GET UPGRADED CAMS BUT ITS ALL EXSPESSIVE.IV ALLREADY DUMPED PROB 4TIMES ITS BOOK VALUE N2 MY FUCUS ALLREADY & IV JUST BEGUN! HAD TO FIX ALOT OF THINGS 1ST!!!! THO IT RUNS OK FOR 203K MILES(HAD 192K WHEN I BOUGHT IT ANYWAYS

The copper motorcraft plugs are used in a boosted application as they are a step colder than the factory SVT plugs.

Negative. I have run two sets of properly capped OEM Motorcraft copper plugs and now run Denso Iridium. The Irdium on my NA motor are much better.

I have one myself buy the delete kit for the vvt because when that thing breaks it's a 600 part

The only thing known to go bad in the VVT is the actuator but that is the dealership full retail price. You can get them a good bet less than that on Focus forums from dealership parts counters there as 'sponsor members.'

They look like e3 plugs i have the 2003 svt zx5. Yes motor craft is the best or denco but ALL WAYS make sure they are gapped right you have to gap yourself. Also the correct Motorcraft are a cold plug if you can afford the super cold or ever find them then even better but the original are fine. Definitely don't run ngk they are rated hot

There's no way that this can be the same car...if this is the car that I think it is, I know the owner who had it when it lived its life in Fargo. Looking at his Facebook page, it sure as hell looks like it's the same thing. Same wheels, even.

Litestorm17 It's the same exact car. The only difference is he removed some good parts for whatever stupid ass reason and sold them. Then some older gentleman bought it for whatever reason. Ended up at MSAA and bang; now it's here.
I'm being told I'm not working on it anymore because it isn't done yet though either. So I guess I don't really care. lol

focus requires a iridium plug! bought new motorcraft spark plugs N the ceramic shattered in under 1k miles=junk!!! ima use ngk!!!

Iridium was the original factory design but it's been changed.
Motorcraft SP 463 - _copper core._ NGK does not make a plug for SVT that is cold enough.
