    Thanks for the video. Looks like that second beach has quite a bit of sand removed. On the new pound coins I've pulled a couple out the wet sand that show core rust already.Think I'm grounded this week til the weather gets better. Keep the videos coming 👍

    Thanks for watching mate. It is surprising how the new pound coins are showing signs of rust already. The second beach has thick clay beneath it. Traps to good stuff but it's a bugger to dig. Cheers Jason

      Historical Magpie just an update mate. The large copper thing is actually a rotating band from an artillery shell as pointed out by a viewer and confirmed. That's a first for me.

    The copper thing isn't a bracelet but seems to be part of a shell, it would be the rotating band I think.

      Oldtboot interesting. It looked like a piece of bling initially but when cleaned up it looked like a copper pipe fitting. Thanks for the information. I'll look at a few. Good to know. Thanks for watching. Jason.

      Oldtboot you are absolutely right. It's a rotating band used to rotate the projectile. Often worn as a fashion accessory by Essex girls. Lol. Only joking about the last bit. Well done on the ID mate. 👍

    Which shaft are you using? It looks longer than the stock shaft, which is too short for me. Thanks! Edit: just read the description, sorry :P

    • @RustyRecovery
      @RustyRecovery  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oldtboot it is a Anderson carbon fibre over / under shaft. Jason.
