It's not wasted time it's a valuable lesson sometimes things are not what they seem and sometimes we humans have to go through the hard situations to not only learn from them but to do better for ourselves in the future and know what to look for and the warning signs eather way positive or negative gain or loss it's a perspectives and opinions but I'm sure it is difficult stay positive wish u the best remember u can't have the good without the bad in life and some times we have to go through hell to get to heaven or vise versa once again it's all perspective and how you choose to see it or look at it good luck

If more people were to switch from watching depressing news everyday to watching these Stoicism Videos, they would not only be happier, less depressed people, but would expand their mind boundaries to better combat the external happenings that they have no control over to begin with.
Switching from depressing tales of woe to these Videos have helped me to gain insight into who I am as a person. And basically our own body/mind/life is the only thing we can make choices concerning and the only things that should matter, for they are eternal.

Funny, but the final step this year was I skipped sending the usual Christmas card. After 6 years they came back last spring to apologize, and I had to bite my tongue to not apologize back, as was my habit. I value integrity and keeping one’s word. I wasn’t the person who abandoned me at my darkest hour. I think it’s that i don’t want to admit wasting decades of my time on this friend. Selective availability: ouch. That was brutal. Can’t believe I didn’t value myself that way.

    Ty for these wise words.
I see many of these signs.
as an empath, I try to understand why they do, what they do.
It eventually just falls back on me as a setback.
I get " ignored" if I speak out on my behalf.
It's been one week since I've been ignored from a person I thought cared, after 4yrs.
I'm usually the one to try to understand what I did wrong.
I've finally decided to accept that I didn't do anything to deserve to be IGNORED.

I m beginning to learn that the only one that can truly love me is me, trust is me , and the only one always there for me is me. After realationships always pleasing and being used and never valued or loved , putting my life away i finaly see that me is the only tru and real love i have and need. The new realationships are not for needing to feel valued, loved or to be pleasing until i am drained again, but its sharing happines, dreams and support getting inputs and never give and expect returns other then equal respect.

I’m 47 and up until now, I’m considered a very attractive woman to the eyes of my family, friends, and people I get across daily, I don’t post pictures of myself on any social media, I’m old fashioned and I’ve always being romantic, quiet, sometimes I think those cruel people that make us fall in love with them, treat us like a temporary trophy 🏆 all I wanted was a nice husband to get old with him. And they did all the bad things this video mentioned. Two exes that behaved exactly like this video explained. Let’s keep learning and getting wiser on what I didn’t understand when I was younger ❤

Wow… 🤯..😢Now im a grown Man 52 years , Hardly no softy and generally don’t have close to Tears, but This one Did me in like I’ve never experienced before… I was out shopping and constantly started crying , wiping my own tears in shopping hide away trawlly allies.. a new. Experience.. as much as appreciated that might be I had to pause…just to see clearly and keep a somewhat straight face…. Put it back on in the Car … Now I was belching like I was 5 years old, Second shopping mall….with a resolute “..damn it…(fist in the table kind of….)”. Same thing again…..😂….This clip has hands down (unless wiping tears) 😅 is probably the best that I’ve heard .. and I’ve heard a Lot…

Wow it’s funny how I’m able to recognize this in a certain person that I was in a relationship with but I can happily say that it’s ended. This sums him up in a nutshell.

I was in a relationship where I was been used. Everything you have said is true. I broke up with my ex husband of 10years who constantly emotionally neglected ND drainede. I think I intimates him by all my hard work as he was an insecure man. Thankyou for all the wisdom. I highly appreciate it.
