I'm so confused... why don't these videos get more views? They editing is fantastic, the explanation is very well done and he - is - funny! Very, very good job...
Board games that are not bought off the shelf of a big box store will obviously get much less views than something that is for sale at Target...for example.
So good. The clarity of rules, edge cases, elaborations on things you personally found difficult, the stop motion animations. Your voice is really nice too! My favorite touch is the morphing effect on 04:45. I'll play this 2p for the first time tomorrow. Really excited.
Thank you for all your amazing how to play videos, yours is always one of the first channels I check when playing something new - really appreciate how well thought out your structuring is as it helps my wife and I grasp the game far better than just having the manual read aloud with slight rewording 😂 keep up the great work
I am a pretty hardcore fan of Watch It Played and have never been happy with an alternative “how to play” video until today!!!! Sir you are amazing. You don’t even need the silly comments- you have a gift for explaining how to play a game. 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 Keep being awesome!
Thank you! i'm working on it. That list changes all the time, but at last count, i had videos for 21 of the top 100 games (22 if you count both versions of Agricola!)
16:55 Great video but there is a small mistake when you count the points. It’s not 2 points for all connected cities then 3/4/6 points depending the number of buildings. There is an example in the rulebook which is very clear about that.
Thanks for this video! I played this game today and I was 90% sure that I was playing the rules correctly. Now I know I gained production and action cards when I probably shouldn’t have. I guess my first score doesn’t count lol
Good video, caught a few mistakes. However, in the rulebook it says that the when the new era comes and you get the 3 new cards, it says to immediately discard down to 3. Once that is done, the new era begins, which is different than the usual discard at the start of your turn.
When you clicked on the video, did you have the game sitting on the table, or were you just here to discover what it’s all about (and maybe buy it later)?
It’s the flavor text on the cards he’s referring to: the dolphin’s says “let’s talk about your small brain humans”, and the woman’s says “yes, brilliant analysis. Except that one plus one does not, in fact, equal 3”
And it’s ALSO the fact that they’re a dolphin and a woman. If i wanted dolphins and women in my board games, i would... something something Flipper: The Board Game.

The same thought.
Please keep making videos for heavy games that come out which have no tutorials. You are the best!
Thanks. i’ll try! What am i missing?
Nuceum when it comes out! Theres a video by another creator but i dont like their videos..@@NightsAroundaTable
The BG tutorials of Nights Around a Table are unmatched! This is absolutely well done!
Thank you so much!

Another fantastic offering. You might be the best in the business.

I’ve watched all the boardgaming channels on youtube and Ryan you are the best in this business.
That's so kind of you, Kayra. Thank you! Tell your friends.

Great teach! I’ll be showing this to my friends prior to us getting together to play in a few weeks.
Jelly!
I think you should do all the top 100 bgg games. You are funny, smart and clear. We need this!

The provided instructions were really confusing. This video is fantastic!
Amazing explanation!!! Best one available!!! 🎉 Congratulations and thanks a lot!! 💯‼️🙏🏻🙋🏼♀️
That was maybe the best explanation ive ever saw. Amazing.

Glub glub burble glub!

Best how to play Underwater Cities video, thank you!
Glad i could help!
Great job Ryan! I want to get this out and play again now.
Thanks! i felt the same way putting the video together, which is a good thing!
Thank you for the excellent video!
Amazing explanation. Funny, light, easy to grasp. Thanks and I wish you had more subs. Getting one from me!

No - YOU!
Thank you for the awesome videos :) you helped me out so often 🙏
Fantastic material!!
You’re not so bad yourself!

Sure thing, Bruno!

(we can keep it between us)
So clean, thank you very much!!!
i DID slop a little seaweed on the board, but it rubbed right off.
@@NightsAroundaTable haha, not what I meant 🤣 I wanted to write so clear ! Sorry, but that's funny 😜
Phenomenal work as always, somebody give this man a raise!
Thanks, Tyler!
Very impressive tutorial
Thanks, Ben!

So you still discard down to 3 even after having handsize increase?
Thank you. :)
Awesome explanation :) I think putting the set up part first would be more helpful in my opinion :) otherwise, great!
When you clicked on the video, did you have the game sitting on the table, or were you just here to discover what it’s all about (and maybe buy it later)?
We had the game open and we were trying to figure out how to play :) thanks for your video! It helped a lot!
@@NightsAroundaTable I see your point :)
In the “Rodney, Jon, Nithrania, Peaky” Class……..
i have a charity steel cage match with all of those guys at the end of the month.
Is underwater cities fun?
I think so! It runs a little long at 4p but otherwise I really enjoy it.
Trump tower elevator card lol
Did miss the part about the assistants you mentioned? Also, is it really that offensive having a dolphin and a woman in there? Did I miss something?
It’s the flavor text on the cards he’s referring to: the dolphin’s says “let’s talk about your small brain humans”, and the woman’s says “yes, brilliant analysis. Except that one plus one does not, in fact, equal 3”
And you can get rid of them by claiming a 5th action card, then you can get rid of one you’ve already claimed (including your assistant)
@@DMExplains Oooooooooooooooh! That sucks.
And it’s ALSO the fact that they’re a dolphin and a woman. If i wanted dolphins and women in my board games, i would... something something Flipper: The Board Game.
