This looks like it would be a interesting TV series. The plot would follow the Cyborgs and their war with the Waruders, each side having their own personal conflicts and how all this plays out in the battle for the earth. The cyborgs are made up of: Apolloid Z Rock Baron S Shine X Plasma A Sky Rider X Cycloid Z Spacy X1 Spacy X2 Spacy X3 The Waruders would be made up of: Dokuro King Satan King Fishman Beetle man Plant man Birdman Invader J Invader O Invader Z More characters would appear to bolster up the Cyborg and Waruder factions along with the mysterious Androids.
The Henshin Cyborg theme is made of pure awesomeness! (It's composed by SPEED RACER composer Nobuyoshi Koshibe.) Just like any Japanese hero theme from the 70s. This music video is excellent! Awesome computer animation, too! You've captured the feel of the original toys.
There was a different Henshin character that was an android (Android A). Henshin Cyborg #1 is part human from what I understand...don't ask me how that works out, though(uploaded/transferred concsiousness, perhaps? Microman did that some later). I assume the clear parts of the body represent the parts that are organic. Something like that... can any HC#1 experts help explain?
Well, this guy was meant to be dressed up as popular superheroes of the period. (They had costumes of Mazinger Z, Masked Rider V3, and Ultraman Tarou, for example, for Henshin Cyborg.) You have the original Masked Rider (a cyborg) to thank for inspiring this guy! :) And yeah, I would think that the transparent bodies were meant to represent organic bodies, much like an "Invisible Man" body model. Instead of bones and organs, it's cybernetics!
John Cassidy This was the aspect that never made any sense to me. Those heroes already existed. Why’d the cyborgs dress up like them? The Waruders had their unique costumes, why didn’t the Cyborgs?? :/

Apparently the Cyborgs DID have their own costumes, but as the toys' popularity started to decline, they introduced the "hero" costumes to try to boost sales. By that time, the whole oil crisis had started and decided to shrink them down to Micronauts...
Is he as much a cyborg at the Terminator o.O if so, I still classify him as an android.. :| I'm not even going to start into uploaded consciousnesses and all that xD

サイーボーグの変身セットは下手なソフビよりリアルだった。後発の少年サイボーグ、ジャガー、サイボーグライダー出るたんびに高額になりライダーは確か2500円くらいした。友達の建設会社社長の息子は普通に全セット持っていたなー。
変身サイボーグを持っていた人は、今は５０代ですよ。私はマジンガーＺのパーツが欲しかった。

Pigumon maybe the parts are cybernetic organisms most of the human forms could be cyberneticaly real or in the form of human hologram
