I wonder how these themes came about as there was no Microman anime in the 1970s(there may have been a cancelled one) and I don't know if this was used in commercials
For all we know. Toei and Takara may have been working on one, yet it got cancelled before it could air I actually thought of some form of plot 5 kids(4 guys, 1 girl. For names I imagine that Guy 1= Akira Shirabe, Guy 2= Hayate Junkawa, Guy 3= Kensuke Iori, Guy 4= Jin Sasaki, Girl= Jun Shirabe) get a bunch of ‘figures’ from their parents, two days later the villains of Microman invade, and the ‘figures’ have to prevent the invasion while keeping up the pretence of being toys, this would be the case for around 10 episodes, at which point the kids find out and create this group called "Micro Club" which is set as a way for the 5 to play with the figures at certain times, while instead setting up a base for the Micro to come from(including the new toys available on store shelves) and at the end, the invasion is stopped, but the Micro stay behind on Earth in case another threat shows up
I've never heard anyone sing so passionately about action figures
the original gi joe action figure songs were kinda in the same field :)
