It's about a weary and broken heart of a sinner turning to Jesus. This piece was written by the holy spirit. As Bach himself said: "I write down the notes, but it is God who makes the music" Nothing apart from the bible gets me closer to God's heart than Bach's impossible music.
I’m not particularly religious but I feel this. The climax of this piece feels like judgement, not in a bad way necessarily, just being seen and weighed by the all mighty, like your soul is opening up before them without your say.
One of the best interpretations of Ich ruf zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ I have ever heard, This is magnificent. Unearthly, it is a sobbing cry to Jesus for help.
Da dove viene questa musica ? Chi l'ha creata? Un uomo! E' impossibile!. Arriva dal cielo, dall'infinito da dio? Violoncellista meraviglioso , interpretazione fantastica, sentita, profonda. Meraviglioso pezzo di bach
Their fabulous and breathtaking performances are full of sorrow , lonely and nostalgia , and comfortable to the ear and the mind Inspired by their incomparable performances , I remember 「 Solaris 」 of the movie's masterpiece I'm just intoxicated with their wonderful performance in Japan From Tokyo of the Land of the Rising Sun 🇯🇵
@@ProfantasyMusic Thank-you so much to your wonderful comments Go for it Take care of yourself Good luck ! I'm looking forward to your wonderful performance
Excellent choice of instrumentation for this wonderful, and always moving piece. The main melody on the cello sounds exquisite. Sadly the recording of the organ was not captured in its full depth. This improved when I listened to the piece using quality headphones. I wish I had been in the audience for this performance!
Hey I am glad that I met you almost a year ago! For all the people reading this comment: this guy on the violoncello is an amazing guy! He really is a musician in all ways!!! I kept talking with him for an hour or so, and I was really totally inspired by him Amazing personality
This would have to be one of the better renditions of Bach's most haunting and powerful piece since Edward Artemiev adapted it for Tarkovsky's Solaris 1972
I have this open in a separate window than what I'm actually working on, and when the cello changes register right after 0:50 I honestly thought It was a flute. That is all. great rendition of the song
HI Guitar trumps all other instruments for this piece! I listened to the greats, Horowitz, Kempf, on piano, and it's boring. You brought it to life! Such perfect tempo. Thank you.
Hi Peter, this sounds and looks very good. Sorry for the big delay with finishing the movie from Vienna. Will do some time... Time flies :) Best regards /Rune

not so impossible, actually 😊

Bach was the greatest composer of all time and also a very humble and reverent man
Aha, i think you know him in person. my mom said he was just the opposite...
He was actually a very stubborn and short-tempered man!
what can be more beautiful on earth than Bach's music...
Probably nothing.
Wagner's music
Other composers music and why leave them out?

One of Bach's most moving works, you can hear the despair in every note.
