- Hey everyone! (sorry for my bad english). Unfortunately this video came out a little late, but it still reflects the current fight for the top 4 in the Brazilian football championship! Who will win the Brasileirão this year? Flamengo, Botafogo, Palmeiras or Fortaleza?

I'm sorry, but even considering that the top four that you mentioned were the current top four at the time, I can't accept that you use the term "top 4 from Brazil" using Botafogo or Fortaleza. Those 2 clubs aren't by any chance in the top 10 of Brazil.
Brazil's top 4 are Palmeiras, Flamengo, São Paulo and Corinthians (maybe Santos instead).
Botafogo might be on the 12 greatest of Brazil, but is probably the last one, Fortaleza isn't even one of the 12 greatest, but they are growing and getting bigger every year.
@@victoralanjos Thanks for your comment! I used this term just to make it easier for those outside of Brazil who don't watch the championship like we do.
I could have used the term "G4", but it wouldn't have had the same impact. Instead, i decided to use "top 4", since it's a very popular term in some famous league (like the Premier League) to describe the top 4 teams in the table.

The 12 clubs with a historical and/or recent relevance, those clubs have massive support and power.
We call then "the 12 greats".
Palmeiras, Flamengo, São Paulo, Santos, Corinthians, Vasco, Fluminense, Botafogo, Grêmio, Internacional, Cruzeiro e Atlético (MG).
Recently (last 10 years) Palmeiras and Flamengo have (has, had, idk this fk language) been (the) outstanding clubs, so the press call them "giants".
Fortaleza is a good club, with a great structure, Botafogo was a good club, but they have money now.
@@InsideTheBrazilianFootball honestly there's no right answer on this. Just try to never ever rate Brazilian clubs. The G12 is all big and great (I don't agree with it).
Botafogo must be the club with the minor support between the G12 and even they have something close to 4.2 million fans.
In Brazil football is a fucking religion, just be careful to even give an opinion about it.

Second, i didn't rate the clubs! I just used a term to make it EASIER for non-brazilians to understand. As I said before, it's common to use the term top 4 to describe the first 4 clubs in the table and AT THE MOMENT these are the top 4 in the 2024 Brazilian Série A.
