    I wish I could figure out what LinkedIn "wants," meaning, what metrics LinkedIn is tracking and optimizing for. With TH-cam it's really obvious-TH-cam wants more watch time (because more watch time gets them more ad revenue). With Google it's really obvious-Google wants more ad clicks (because more ad clicks get them more revenue). With LinkedIn, ... how do they even make money?

      lets suppose you are a consultant who gives business advice to business owners via seminars or any other way, so you analyze different posts or pieces of contents that are going viral these days, lets say that personal stories and personal development are going crazy today. Based on that, if you create content and post it and then you get leads, you get connections, you talk to those connections and they refer you to other people and that's one of the many ways you can make money based of on linkedin
