Hi! This is Gorgeous and LOVE the color combination. Hope you are great and thank you for sharing this great gift you have❤️ blessings I am new at bead weaving and just LOVE it and the satisfaction from making something pretty:-) ok so glad I found your channel. Thanks again🥰
I think this design is gorgeous, regardless of the colors you used. Hope to try on some cabs I have arriving soon. Thanks for sharing your talent and experience.
Thank-you for the beautiful tutorial. I made this in a couple of different colors and wore them as rings. People tried to take them off of my finger as they complimented their beauty.
I love this piece! The colors and the bezel! However, when you do a tutorial, please be mindful of staying in front of the camera! It was much more helpful when you figured out when you were off camera. Also, please tell your viewers what supplies you are using! Thank you!! Very beautiful design and I am going to start one in about 15 minutes!!
Awesome, beautiful work. Thank you for the video. I learned so much. I have just started jewelry beading and watching your videos are very inspirational.
i started to make this but something was so wrong...fireline was wrong so ive ordered smaller fireline. cant wait to get it done, im using emerald with dark gold seed beads. clear bicones and opal white bicones for the center... you are inspirering thank you for your time and sharing your talent.
hi sidonia,I'm Torris khadija from Morroco/Marrakech i love all of your tutoriel's i'm traing to make this ring it's wonderful and so so butiful thank you so so much.
Thank you Sidonia for your time and patience. Spent the afternoon doing this to find it too long, so in reply to Tanquerel Nathalie, 6 sets of 3mm will be enough. I don t really know why this happens but 6 worked out better for me. Thanks again Sidonia for your beautiful designs.
I think it happens because you are not using Miyuki seed beads, but maybe Tohos? Tohos or other brands of seed beads are a little bit bigger than the Miyukis.
+Sidonia's handmade jewelry I think that is my problem. I tried this twice and both times the cabochon swims in the setting. Do you use the miyuki round or delica? I think the answer is round but I wanted to be sure.
@@Sidoniasbeadedjewelry you are sooo talented with your designs and colors. I’ve noticed most bead designers on TH-cam just don’t have the gift of that 3 dimensional aspect that you so tastefully bring to play. Their work looks flat- yours is sumptuous along with your use of rich colors and the crystals you bring into most all pieces- thank you so much for all your inspiration- I just had to tell you these things and I’m so happy that I got to! 🤩😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I do so love this design. I've had wonderful luck with your beaded bezels; however, on this one, I have also had mine turn out too large, and I definitely used the Miyuki beads since I've learned that the Tohos are too large. I even used 2.5mm bicones down the sides. I'm going to have to dismantle the bezel and start over and eliminate a unit down the sides of the bezel. I don't know what I did wrong here, but I will redo it with the modification and see how that goes. Again, thank you for the beautiful designs. Keep up the good work.
This color combination is gorgeous. I know you said 'it was all I had' but I think it is beautiful. And thank you SO much for doing this. Not many people share what they know without making money, and you do it for free and I admire you for it. And PS: I LOVE the shape of your needle! Mine look like that all the time and I'm glad I'm not the only one ;D
Thank you! I love the color combination too, even if I choose them out of what I had at that moment. It was a good thing not having other colors :-). All my needles look like this one! :-D
Sidonia's handmade jewelry Dear Sidonia, could you tell me where you get the bend, curved beading needles? I though your needle was accidentally bend, but after watching your tutorial I realise it is supposed to be that way. Where have you bought it? Thank you so much, and keep your tutorials coming!!!
Sorry to disturb, but I tried twice and the result is the same I'm afraid to constat that it is too large ??? Personaly I don't like when the cabochon moves inside the sertissage. The second time I tried just to put 2 instead of 3 on the back but it moves again..... I'll try my last time for 6 instead of 7 3mm bicones and I'll come back to you to coment my new experiment.... Thanks a lot for your tutorial I love it !!! and I want to sucess !! :))
Hello I am from Venezuela and now I'm on vacation in Ohio USA, I would ask the favor of recommending a store where you can buy beads and other material to make their tutorials please
Oh, I'm so sorry, I just saw your message! Am I too late?! I live in Italy, so I cannot be of too much help, but I searched on internet and found this one: www.potomacbeads.com/medina.html I'm sorry for not answering earlier. Sidonia
Well, I have made it twice and both times the cabochon swims inside the Bessel. I am using Miyuki 15/0 seed beads! I am very disappointed I have spent hours on this. O well I guess I’ll move on to another project. Just thought you would like to know that there are a few of us with the same problem.
Sidonia's Handmade Jewelry I am using duracoat galvanized gold sb 150. That’s all I have to go on. I think the # might be longer, but this is what I have written down.
Hi Cindy, yes, that is the problem. There are coatings/colors that are thicker then others, thus making the beads bigger than others. Try to take out one unit per side and see how it works - others did that and they say it worked.
How would you suggest making this into a pendant? Also, do you have any experience with adding a pin to the back and making it a pin? Thanks for the excellent videos!
Grazie, Mariarita! Sidonia :)
This is really beautiful but I am having 2 issues. 1) it swims in the setting and 2) it doesn't lie flat. I read some of the comments and saw a reply you posted that it might be because we are using toho's instead of miyuki. I bet that is the issue and I have ordered some 15/0 beads. I just love this piece!!! Thank you so much for the tutorial!!!
+RI Beastie , yes, try it using 15/0 miyuki rounds. If that still doesn't work, try using only 6 - 3mm bicones on each side. This is what I had to do because I used 3mm preciosa, had no swarovski in the color I needed. Hope this helps.
Thank you Ladies! I just received my 15/0 Miyuki rounds and I am going to try making it again. I know this time I will be successful. Thanks so much!!! :)
Sidonia's handmade jewelry THANKX ! and maybe it was all that you had it but i m really in love with the colors.. i spend more than two hours to find the palace green opal because i only find in 4mm..i m so excited to do that! thankx a million times . love from belgium !
I love the look of the ring. Its beautiful, but sad to say I couldn't see the work you were doing. The camera was way out of focus and I couldn't figure it out. Thank you
Grazie, Linda! Ciao, Sidonia :)
You said you used a 4 mm on the corners! These were not in the supply list ! So now after my struggle I am going torip it out since I have been using the 3 mm, is that going to make a difference? I may sound picky, but when I am doing this for the first time it is confusing. I mean it is easy for you since it is your design! But I am learning this pattern with your teaching . I’m very disappointed!
Ciao! :) Sidonia
Beautiful technique but my only suggestion is to keep the video centered on your hands it kind of goes off camera so it's hard to follow.. Also would love a printed version I don't have the ability to follow in my workroom .. a printed version would be neat. Thanks so much for the beautiful idea.

Spectacular! A real heirloom piece. You are my favorite designer and I've become a very good beader thanks to you. Many blessings!

Phyllis Brunson-Sutton good for you for doing it twice, this is a gorgeous ring. But the worst tutorial I have seen inthe 15 years I’ve been beading!
