I had not watched this nest prior to seeing this recap of the season. What an absolutely beautiful bird in every way possible. Such a devoted pair, raising such a lovely family and I can't wait to become a steady follower next season. Thank you for this memorable video.
Thank you for sharing this excellent footage! Every time I see a video like this, it makes me very happy to know that the animals are being observed in nature instead of captivity.
This cam recap would be a good educational tool for younger children. It is a good description of the life of kestrels and what they eat. Good discussions could evolve from this. Hopefully it will be used again and again. Mrs. E
Noticed the size of the nest box is quite a bit larger than normally recommended on most places. Do you find a larger box works better? I can't imagine raising 4-5 young in the typical 8 x 10 inch box.
This year"s breeding season of a kestrel couple , with some very remarkable interactions with a jackdaw couple : th-cam.com/video/Jtw0qC186BA/w-d-xo.html

What a great video. Mom and Dad must be saying "Where does the time go? I remember when they were just little 'uns."
This has always been my favorite bird. Breathtaking when I see them in person.
I just love this bird - so beautiful and great parents. I can't wait for next season.

I loved this summary video. Informative and to the point.

*Kestrel's grows fast that when I missed a week of visiting them, they went from only the head is visible to them standing outside the nest*
delightful creatures.
Very cool, thanks so much for sharing this. Rad to see the workings of Nature in all its glory.
We really enjoyed watching them when it was live. So nice to see this summary of them. Thank you! They are so cute- and such beautiful markings!🙂
