- Performed with the "Euskadiko Orkestra - Basque National Orchestra" (conducted by Maite Aurrekoetxea) with modern instruments, except for the Baroque Timpani and Serpent. The Serpent is sitting between 2nd Bassoon and Contrabassoon, who plays the same part one octave lower.
Played on an English military Serpent of the late 18th / early 19th centuries.

Is your serpent in D or C?
It's a C Serpent in 415hz, so we can say it's in B! It allows me to play this piece in Eb Major instead of D Major... much more easier for my fingers 😉
@@oabemart that's pretty cool. Mine is a 3D printed one in C and some keys are just wicked hard. Then again... It's a 3D printed one. There's no way I'm going to find a serpent here in Macedonia.
