Excellent lol esports content. I love post worlds analysis. It always feels like the tournament as a whole isn't summarized once it ends and specially finals feels like it goes without much thought, as if it doesn't matter since it doesn't lead to any more games Keria diff was too much, first lehends starts looking weird (I do think T1 were targeting his warding journeys tho) and then ON jus straight up chokes, insane, and it seems like Keria diff might prove true again next year with geng getting a rookie support.
Keria imo was the most impactful t1 player for me in both 2023 and 2024 worlds. Jdg even picked red side in 2023 once to prevent double adc. Why was yone banned so much? Faker couldn't really play yone all that well. But, from what I have heard, isn't knight also a not very good yone player apparently?
@@SergioMnlThe Yone was not the game winning piece and so does Faker piloting it. He can be serviceable on the pick but not as insane as other Yone player we have in the tournament. Game 1 T1 was behind until GENG made a rotation blunder and T1 capitalizing on objective timer. You can say Yone helped T1 to shred baron but thats more on Yone power than Faker piloting it. Then they turned around with a good engage on Chovy who for some reason tried to contest it. Really, you can replace Yone with Neeko and it would be similar since Faker picked Yone only for its utility, not the fully on carry potential other mid would use. Watch T1 vs BLG game 1 and thats how it would look like if GENG didnt blunder If Faker was so proficient on Yone, they wouldnt ban yone on blue side after game 1
This video make me realize that G2 didn't play as G2 at all this tournament. Usually they are the team that pivot into something weird, they ends up focusing one strategy for almost the whole tournament. On top of that, I believe caps is one of the best player when left on sidelane, and as you said, you can't be sidelane as Orianna... So not only the team drag him down for the mono-strategy, but also force him to take a role in the game which he can't shine as much. One thing that I don't understand is how the meta shift so much in a single month on the same patch, while on the regular split the meta feel stuck on one for an entire split.
at the end of Fly vs Geng, Caedrep said play your own meta..stop not copying eastern teams meta..i think there is some truth to that statement as shown by G2 Ivern pick in MSI and Nunu pick by Fly
@@TYFLOL sometime meta champ is too strong that you cant even counter play that why t1 look so shaky af when in lck but when world they will try to nerf meta to be on a scale of strong but not cheating
If worlds is played on a regular season schedule, most probably there is no time to start a new meta. 1 week is enough to have sufficient scrims and analysis to surprise the opponent.
T1 draft is the main reason they won games 4 and 5. BLG had sylas + ziggs mid adc which are full ap in game 4. Then they had 65% ap vs galio, 2 counter matchups top support, and full engage vs full disengage. T1 completly outdrafted in the most important games
@@axel978 Game 4 their draft was objectively worse - Just a bad style for BLG and T1 really clutched out some key spots (river poppy fight and Faker commit on the flash less people in mid)

The one who really play yone well is zeus in t1
They beat GENG game 1 with yone. If what you're saying is true and faker is actually "bad" at yone then it proves your point.
@@SergioMnl I love t1, but that was an anomaly. faker yone at his best is just decent.

maybe other teams are wary of yone going to zeus. he's really good at that champion
unlucky timing on the release but I love stuff like this
TSM "AFK Mid" LeChoke'vy James the Golden Choker is that Nasus player who tells the team to stop fighting while he farms.

@kubotite9168 t1 did indeed play their own meta too.

@YamatoCannon213 isn’t sylas plus ziggs kinda doomed because of full ap and burst heavy champs ?
