Mine were constantly missing studs and the ones that stayed on were all miss matched. I was surprised how long mine lasted though, the plastic heel ended up failing and I had to toss them.
Great video man, I love to learn about these rare odd models, the high end models we see everyday everyone posts about them, but these, damn, most I didnt even know existed.
Tbh those Puma defenders boots are like my dream shoe. I have size 14 feet that are getting flat and I need stiffer supportive boots to protect my ligaments (honestly I’m just not built for soccer but whatevs) and those are perfect. The padding, the plastic that cups interior ankle, the stiff sole plate, those are all really useful for supporting a big guy like me. I’m not a defender even. Maybe you could do a video on good shoes for arch/ankle support or wide/flat/flattening feet.
Fun fact: Diadora actually didn't design the Cambio. A Chinese company did and Diadora paid for the patent. The Chinese company had been trying to sell the patent at different trade shows.
Bro keep up this content! You use to have the sauce back then with all the clear videos but now you getting it back with these type videos lmao they’re interesting af
I just found out sr4u has a sneaker reviews for you channel and I feel like it wasn't all that well publicized so like this so more people can find his other channel(which is a pretty good yt channel btw)
I am actually fine with the ToePoke boots, it's not as bad as you think it is. Your aim was just off in the footage. I used it in my previous match, it performed perfectly. Sorry to say this I have to disagree with it being #1 in failure technology list. The rest seem accurate. Anyways since this is your opinion, no one has rights to argue with them. Again good video mate👏
Hi Josh, I would just like to point out that on Serafino’s website, when the boots were released about a year ago, they said the first 500 pair sold would be £100 instead of £150. They’re now in between at £119 because no one buys them!! They’re also releasing a rip off of the Joma Champion Max this year...
I was a owner of a lotto zero gravity .... i was very happy when i purchase it ... ultra expansive, futuristic ... but i only play 4 game with them for a heel problem .... by the way 4 goal in 4 game ... not bad for 300euros ahahah
I definitely remember the lottos as a kid. I thought they were cool and remember the price. If I’m not mistaken, el jardinero Cruz was sponsored by lotto. I always wondered if he got a custom pair to fit correct. I recently threw away all my Eurosport’s from when I was kid. Stuff from 2005-2010
To be fair, the toe punt boot may actually be useful for blind football. As they play against sighted goalkeepers, punting the ball is the most used shooting technique because they can shoot unexpectedly and quickly
New Balance and Puma have this really cool technology where you twist a knob to tighten it, it would be great to have on boots, it would take no laces to the next level.
The Serafino could be a good idea in american football, though. Even in micro-football. Micro-football is a widely played version of futsal in south america that's played with a size 1 skills ball which is very dense and non elastic. And the goal is reduced, usually "portable". The sole would have to be flat in that case, though.
Great video as always Josh! Pretty interesting to see what brands want us to forget By the way, is there any chance of you getting some of nike's new vaporknit apparel? Would like to see how it fits in comparison to Aeroswift
Used puma vkon 3 and they were awesome (still looking to get another pair). The heel protection and top thickness helped a lot when rivals step on your feet after a jump. Also they were great for playing rugby.
I've never had the f50. 8, the f30. 8 were really nice though never had an issue with them, I did buy the f50. 9 and f50i and never had an issue with them as far as confort, but they were pretty heavy, the f50i especially to me was the nicest looking boot I've ever purchase, I wish I bought several pairs so I could still wear them.
Ignoring it being a marketing stunt. Defenders tend to get/make harder hits with their feet. I guess they're trying to make a protective boot. They just went too far with the protection.
Football Time they still do specific things more like tackles and putting their foot in front of shots. usually defenders in my teams would go for a more comfortable and heavy boot like a Nike tiempo, versus forwards using a very responsive light model like a superfly. hope that could help
As a defender I prioritize boots with good grip and a little more padding in case I were to get stepped on or to cushion tackles. A Nike premier, Nike timepo or anything with substance works. I have owned vapors and simply like them less because of the poor padding and loosing my footing when back pedaling.
The worst technology of all time in football cleats, hands down is the Adidas Predator Accelerator 1998. It was associated with metatarsal bones injuries. Allegedly, even David Beckham suffered from this but kept his mouth shut, since he was endorsing the product.
5th boots are tough and provide a new experience, 4th one are good for changing boot look on different occassions. 3rd one looks s**t. 2nd one is good for accurate shots. 1st ones shouldn't be allowed in football since it is loathsome to kick ball from your toes.
How about a video on the "top 5" technologies/ trends that the soccer cleat industry has gone away from like foldover tongues, rubberized striking elements, and carbon fiber soleplates
Your position and playing style has nothing to do with what boots you should wear. It all depends on what type of fit and feel that you're looking for.
Lol last boots I used them to just kick people whilst playing as a full back. I hated the position because I'm a striker but due to lack of defenders they had me playing as a full back. I grew frustrated and got me those boots to just punt strikers. Hahahahahaha
I'm sorry, but which football shoe has ever been comfortable in the slightest? And I mean for the pitch, not indoors or track. I have had the Nike R9, Adidas Predator, ... back in the day and all of them were tight as hell, hurt, created blisters, and so on.
It was a rubber element that was marketed as being something much more than it actually was. It was one of various "tech" elements on what were all excellent boots! Definitely not a fail in my opinion.
Want to see another 5 FAILED Football Boots Technologies? Here's part 2 th-cam.com/video/3wzz4Yhcduo/w-d-xo.html
Soccer Reviews For You did u just say soccer cleats? 6:06 7:11

Alfonso Hernandez concave shoes need a part
I had the f50 tunit back in 08 I loved them until I had to walk around the pitch and pick up the studs after games
Not to mention leaked water. Miss them tho
Diar Mohamed p

That first one looks like something you wear while churning butter on the farm.
ctclarkcar lmao🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂

Lotto cleat looks like church shoes with studs
I died of laughter when screen said wait.. on the spotlights😂😂😂

Sketchers came out with a material called SportKnit
gave it a thumbs up just because of the glitch pun (and because I love SR4U)
Me to it was so funny
Fun fact: Diadora actually didn't design the Cambio. A Chinese company did and Diadora paid for the patent. The Chinese company had been trying to sell the patent at different trade shows.
Some kind of glitch 😂
Bro that’s exactly what I said but I did not see your comment sry
Jackson Holland ur good
Wasn't expecting the intro but it killed me xP

Patrick Pierce-Ruhland me too from uk
The F50.8 tunit was actually my favorite shoe when I was younger I rocked it and I loved it. Wore it for an entire season.
Bro keep up this content! You use to have the sauce back then with all the clear videos but now you getting it back with these type videos lmao they’re interesting af
Lmao the spongebob meme tho👍😂😂
Josh, I had the laceless tunit upper during HS Varsity. They fit like a glove. You could put some mean spin on the ball.
who else thinks that the hypervenom phantom 3 design looks like eric killmonger from BLACK PANTHER
I can't stop laughing for number 1 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 why is the merchandising phrase of this boots? Shoot like a horse kick 😂😂😂😂😂
I came here for the elbow crack, I was very disappointed
You ripped into those Diadoras LMFAOOO 😂
This video is so funny, please more comedy because that’s what sets you apart from all the other boot channels
That intro had me rolling on the floor in laughter😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.
surprised to not see the zipper
Will feature in part 2 haha
if you have talent you will score with any cleat no matter how bad they are
I don't disagree with you. Nobody does.
Youre probably tired of comments about the intro but man ... this one is a game changer lmao
I just found out sr4u has a sneaker reviews for you channel and I feel like it wasn't all that well publicized so like this so more people can find his other channel(which is a pretty good yt channel btw)

Your intros are getting more funnier bro keep it up fam
When you said that thing about Lotto, I'm like "geez am I that old?"
Everyone knows the lotto boots are the first ever laceless boots had mad publicity back in the day with Hulk being the face Of them
Love ur videos love ur comedy CONGRATS on ur channel!
This video made my day 😂😂😂 great one John!
The lotto's were a labour of love, but I did love playing in them
The glitch pun just made me tut and shake my head.. well done Josh
"if it wasn't because of technology u wouldn't see me now " well that would be a blessing 😂😂
Loved the video, Josh!!! (Ps, don’t forget to zip your fly XD)
Btw, what’s you outdo song? It’s really nice!! 👍
I love you so much man been watching since 100k from Canada
Hi Josh, I would just like to point out that on Serafino’s website, when the boots were released about a year ago, they said the first 500 pair sold would be £100 instead of £150. They’re now in between at £119 because no one buys them!! They’re also releasing a rip off of the Joma Champion Max this year...
The intro joke was amazing😂😂👌👏
Why haven't you reached 1 million subs or even 500k? This channel deserve 10m subs
I'm gettin blisters just watching half of these boots lol
Surprised no mention for the talcum powder "power increaser" in those adidas boots
I was a owner of a lotto zero gravity .... i was very happy when i purchase it ... ultra expansive, futuristic ... but i only play 4 game with them for a heel problem .... by the way 4 goal in 4 game ... not bad for 300euros ahahah
I get trying to make a “defenders” boot. Not a bad idea. Just odd execution
The Pumas tooling look like hockey player’s teeth and the Diadora tooling look like sod aerators 😂
these puns and jokes are just perfect😂😂👌
So like what happened to your what’s in my bag series on your channel? I noticed that I stopped seeing those just now
I find it very interesting how similar in shape the Lotto laceless is to X 19+, despite being ~13 years apart.
I definitely remember the lottos as a kid. I thought they were cool and remember the price. If I’m not mistaken, el jardinero Cruz was sponsored by lotto. I always wondered if he got a custom pair to fit correct. I recently threw away all my Eurosport’s from when I was kid. Stuff from 2005-2010
The toeboots where mainly used for American footballs, before soccer style kicking was popularized.
Plz don’t stop with these intros 😂😂

Your intros get better and better
another intro...another facepalm....love it same way lmao

I died laughing from the intro skit😂😂

That will be happening, yes.
football cleats nowadays mostly are plastic shoes, bring back OG leather for comfort and ball control!!
janus lie they still have Adidas Copa
Used puma vkon 3 and they were awesome (still looking to get another pair). The heel protection and top thickness helped a lot when rivals step on your feet after a jump. Also they were great for playing rugby.
That dot boot shoe used for spot receiving on at that spot means i am then Soccer king and GOD OF GODS of soccer, realtime
The lotto cleat upper reminds me of those “square” pointed Skechers dress shoes guys use to wear in like 2008.
Don't ever Disrespect the F50 !!!!! those were the shoes EVERY kid wanted back in the day hahaha
Can someone explain the concept of a defenders boot? Doesn’t everyone run and kick the same?
Football Time it’s just a marketing advertisement there is no specific boot that is better for defenders

Those diadoras look like a nightmare. Silicone upper with a neoprene bootie and vents at the bottom and toe. That’s just asking for swamp foot.
Nike Hypervenom “Game of Gold” ?
Lotto Zhero Gravity, my all time favorites. Used them for 10 years and now I’m sad they don’t make them anymore
11:00 seems like you haven't seen my boots with tapes as laces, take that!
can you please do a video of all the Nike premiers 2.0 colourways to show what they look like in hand and on feet.
Thanks Josh
The zipper cleats 💀,nice video btw I laughed and enjoyed it allot.

The 4th edge boots look like something made for old style "straight ahead" NFL kickers.
How about a video on the "top 5" technologies/ trends that the soccer cleat industry has gone away from like foldover tongues, rubberized striking elements, and carbon fiber soleplates
The tunit to me was top 3 boots for me
No specific order
First tiempo legends
F50 tunit
Ctr II
But the f50 had an amazing feel to the ball 🔥😍👌🏼🤙🏼
what do you mean the serafino 4th edge failed? its so op that josh just became too strong that the ball got buttraped.
werent the f50s from 2006? i remember Robben wearing Orange versions of them at the world cup in germany
This is ridiculous. Yes, the Zhero Gravity was a tight fit so I needed a shoehorn to get my foot in, but they were very, VERY good boots.
Most people did not have that same experience. The horrendous sales reflected that.
Lotto zg is The Best boot i ever had, and i have had a lot of different boots
Can you please do a review for the top 5 boots for keepers? Focusing on fit and performance
Your position and playing style has nothing to do with what boots you should wear. It all depends on what type of fit and feel that you're looking for.
I'm just wondering about vKonstrukt 1 & 2, were they designed as the "defender's boot" too? Hopefully top 5 failed marketing video will come up too
They were to a certain extent, but not to the same extreme.
Lol last boots I used them to just kick people whilst playing as a full back. I hated the position because I'm a striker but due to lack of defenders they had me playing as a full back. I grew frustrated and got me those boots to just punt strikers. Hahahahahaha
love this video jason!
Hi josh, just bought the new nike mercurial x . What is youre opinikn on it?
Sorry the mercurialx vaporx II pro ic
Here's my review th-cam.com/video/VvQdUV0ObWU/w-d-xo.html
I need more of these i loved this video
Oddly I love the first puma 😂😂
I had the red n cream f50 tunits with the squared up front, they was so comfy
That v konstrukt was the funniest thing ive heard in a while 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Favourite intro yet!
You should do a review on these 5 to see how they perform on the feild
The intro LOL
The mercurial vapor 2, adidas f50+, and the lotto zhero were the greatest boots ever made. Change my mind.
I wonder how the Serafino 4th edge would work in American Football. Kickers used to toe poke the ball in the past.
I'm sorry, but which football shoe has ever been comfortable in the slightest? And I mean for the pitch, not indoors or track. I have had the Nike R9, Adidas Predator, ... back in the day and all of them were tight as hell, hurt, created blisters, and so on.
What about Mizuno's Mukaiten technology? Is that a failure or not in your opinion?
It was a rubber element that was marketed as being something much more than it actually was. It was one of various "tech" elements on what were all excellent boots! Definitely not a fail in my opinion.
What size are those zhero gravity’s? And do you know anywhere I could buy some?
Ebay would be your best bet to find a pair at this point.
This is the most clever intro you've ever done.
