Saw him on TH-cam shorts the other day talking with the guy who plays Louis. He was saying the scene in episode 1 A LITTLE BITE where they looked naked and he was biting the other guy's neck from behind that it was down on a bike and they were holding onto each other for dear life. Only thought I had was that Sam was standing on the pedals some how. That was some sexy scene.

Thank you so much for this video. I keep rewatching the Dale & Tim love story (as I call "The Newsreader" - ABC Australia), as I love it so much. The slow motion shots capture Dale's longing for Tim. Sam Reid is such a great actor. Love him. Pity the love story had to end so badly at the end of s2. Hopefully, s3 will bring them together again.

I doubt it, the first season did give us hope they might go deeper into Tim and Dale relationship but for me this second season made it clear they don't want to get into the queer side of Dale, and the main focus is Helen and Dale.
@@HaronidMuse Apparently the actor playing Tim was not available when filming of s2 started & therefore the affair could not progress until later in the series when Tim starts to become consumed again by Tim at the xmas party and nightclub (e5), until he is about to be outed when he quickly brings it to an end (e6) (so the writer said). Michael Lucas also says that the Helen character was used as a contrast to Dale (who is the main character) & I suspect as a dramatic device to allow us to hear Dale's most innermost thoughts eg at the end of s1e6. It may depend on which actors are available for the s3 filming as to how the story unfolds.

Let's just say personally I doubt very much they are going that way anymore, don't get me wrong I'll be very pleasant surprise if they did but I'm not hoping anything regarding that ship. For me they made clear in the second season the show is not gonna focus in them. I was terrible dissapointed but I made my peace with it and let it go, I just expect to see Sam Reid Brilliant acting but other than that I'm not holding my breath.

Falling in love with a man would be very interesting you know the struggle he had to deal with but I just don't get that vibe from the writer, I think their main focus is Helen and Dale so nope I don't see it happening, but it would be great if it did.

Just watched the show and they definetly going to have something...I dont really see romantic chemestry between Dale and Helene, more like a deep appreciation and friendship. Tbh I was thinking that she thought he was gay at the start so I was surprised they kissed and more lol

@@akoji4787 for dale n tim its basically background and buildup but you can see their foundation is very deep whereas with helen n him its more a transactional easy relationship which is more of a friendship. Tim n dale have one of the best chemistry i have seen in a while. Its like one of those love stories that shape someone's whole life filled with longing & love. Dale's whole ssns story has been about him being bi but his love for men never being able to show yk like he likes tim but he is so afraid that he keeps letting him go. The last scene was literally tim crying seeing dale for prob last time for a long while in his perspective & dale being being very affected by tim in ways you will see. I think ppl should definitely watch it till the end.

Can hardly wait for season two where he gets his revenge. Sam is just so hot as Lestat and I got some really nice photos of him playing the vampire from Pinterest. The sexiest one was he is sitting up in bed after he was caught being with Antoinette by Louis and Claudia. Media puts his height by one as short as 5 foot 7 to 5 foot 11 on another.

The man with black hair is Chai Hansen, who was born in Thailand. His mother is Australian. He plays the main character in,the New Legend of Monkey series. I think his relationship with Sam Reid will be developed further in Series 2 which will be released in Australia in early 2023. At,the end of the first season Sam Reid’s character admits he is bisexual.

@@HaronidMuse Look at his face at the end. I didn't notice at first how pained he looks. Proud and also kind of heartbroken. Though he's much happier with who he is than Dale is, he has to deal with all the homophobia at the end of S1 around the AIDS story, gets stronger feelings for Dale, who is closer to Helen and now working with her, and likely less with him. At least that's what I see in his face at the end. Chai Hansen is great.
