  • This Gulfstream G-500 is owned by a Craftsman Truck Series Team Owner who made billions in the oil and gas industry. I have spotted this aircraft before and it is always a show-stopper and one of the most beautiful private jets to film.

What truck series team owner owns it? I’ve been trying to figure out for a while, I know it’s registered to AutoRotate LLC and knew it was part of the NASCAR group but can never figure out who owned it/used it from NASCAR side

I’ll have to go back and look through my notes. It took me forever to figure it out but eventually figured out through some legal documents in an old lawsuit. The only thing I can remember off the top of my head is their sons?/nephews? Are both in the truck series

@@aviatealabama that makes sense, no worries! I love your videos; I always check them out each week. Always been interested in the nascar aviation world, my dad used to fly some for some older drivers and I would tag along sometimes. I was always memorized by the drivers and team airplanes; now they are even nicer! Saw where 9CE is for sale so you will have to catch him in his new ride when he gets something else lol

Thats awesome that you got to experience that! Thanks for your continued support! Recognize the username and even remember seeing ya on the message boards on FlightAware! Yea, Chase has been sneaky of late no clue how he got into Atlanta - last year he flew his helicopter in but this year never saw him and no one at the airport saw him either so guess he drove! However, he did take 9CE to phoenix this weekend

I believe it was 1985. Went to fall Charlotte race with my dad. Race is over and we end up at some steak house about 20 miles away. Half way through the meal, Bill Elliot's crew comes in. Still in their team gear. When we left, we noticed the 2 or 3 pickup trucks they used to get there, and were going to use to get back home. Most likely Elliot flew, but still.
Things have changed. Not necessarily for the better. So, I laugh when I hear these people cry poor mouth about having to hustle up sponsor money and they have to watch their pennies. Yeah, class warfare. I'm watching on a PC. On the right I see, Denny Hamlin & Bubba Wallace hop off Private Jet, Jack Roush Lands in Atlanta, Austin Dillon & family....,Brad Kel...., Rick Ware... So, next time they raise ticket prices......... Those jets come out of your pockets.
