I've been a fan of pop-punk for a good 20 years now and I had never actually heard of this band before a few months or so ago, I've listened to this song a few times recently and it's purely poetic. The sound is good but the lyrical content is so much better because it's something that I'm sure all of us can relate to at some point in our lives. So glad I discovered this band, they're a real gem.

its is just me or i prefer the previuos video?;-;
I mean... it's good for the young kids that can't get over broken relationships but what happened to the upbeat positive vibe from the first album? Regardless of the vocalist, I think people appreciate more upbeat music nowadays because it's harder to come by. This new sound just lacks the overall energy and liveliness your first album brought to the table.
"Belmont - Overstepping" is a good example of a song by a band doing the right thing with their vibe and sound in this genre. SadBoyCore is out and being optimistic is in.

Maybe they aren’t feeling optimistic anymore
I mean if you are a human being you can feel both optimistic and at the same time real about a certain situation. If you read the lyrics in this song they read more like a story. And on top of that being positive isn't a thing that's just now "in". Listen to bands like Boys No Good who recorded their first EP in like 2009 and their album Never Felt Better in 2010 or 2011.
