I went to an Apple Store in the USA for a Vision Pro demo and when they saw my 15 pro max with the sim tray they assumed its a fake iPhone. When i told them you can even get dual physical sim versions in other parts of the world they were shocked.

I always used iPhones. I didn’t try android until last year. I have tried the pixel pro and s24 Ultra. The S24 Ultra is by far my favorite! Then Pixel and last iPhone. The android phones are more fun to use! I love my s24 Ultra! The deals in America are great. I bought my s24 Ultra with no trade in for $975 after taxes. It was on sale plus I got a teacher discount. I believe Samsung is the only one giving people in certain professions a discount on their products. I am trading it in for the s25 Ultra and getting $900 trade in value!! Apple never has great deals like that. I am officially team Samsung now!
I still would prefer the S24 Ultra as the look and feel of the phone looks like a flagship phone with still having the Bluetooth for the S pen, whereas the S25 Ultra has minimal features and the cameras look like they have those camera protectors on

@himynameisryan Well from what I've seen in my Dad's S24 Ultra it's pretty snappy and smooth and I've handled tons of iPhones, my Aunt has an iPhone 16 Pro Max and again Samsung has improved to where it's faster and snapper but not as fluid as the iPhone. They're on par but Samsung takes it with the speed this year. Specially with the S25 Ultra.

Still holding onto my S22 Ultra 512GB. Maybe will upgrade next year, but S25 U is not an upgrade for me especially design wise. I think peak Ultra design is S23 U and maybe S24 U.

U can play console level games and even more than the iPhone when using winlator which is worth mentioning in my opinion especially since the performance is really close even when Winlator displays better Graphically at the same resolution .

Losing bluetooth off the pen is utterly retarded. Just because people don't use it much doesn't mean when they do NEED it that it shouldn't be there .. the prospect of losing such a strong and unique feature from a flagship and alienating loyal customers is what Samsung have started to regularly do. I've been a Samsung user for a long long time and would normally never have an iphone but I have a feeling when the next iphone comes out I am going to try one for the first time in well over a decade. I saw the S25 Ultra in the showroom last night. It feels so cheap! The feel and look-I'm still shocked by its overall cheap appearance. I can’t believe what they’ve done with this phone. I have the S23 Ultra and was considering an upgrade, but this is definitely a big no.
I loved Iphones from 2007-2017 but since then I've loved Samsung. I find Samsung are more innovative & love their designs. Plus I love all their other tech.
I don't think you need a screen protector. I've had my S24U for a year now and have no scratches. Mind you, I only use a case sometimes, and the titanium has held up well with all of my drops. If you have any insurance at all, looks like replacing a screen is affordable and easy.

I'd need to wet my thumb by placing it in my mouth like you'd do to turn a page of a book for it to work. Hilarious. Without the protector it would work without issues but considering new phones are prone to being dropped when you least expect them to, I ain't risking it. I returned it. Great phone but seriously if I'm paying that much for it to not open when I want it to, Samsung and all the rest can stick it. My work phone is an IPhone 13 and it works perfectly with face ID. My personal phone was and still is the Note 8 with the physical scanner on the back. Works perfect. 8 year old phone and still going strong. Overheating at times but honestly don't care.

Things where the Galaxy S25 could improve No anti glare display on the s25 No 4k resolution display so no 4k quality videos on YT and Netflix and all No improvement in battery size i.e. still 4000Mah or even to the new carbide battery technology like the oneplus and vivo did No Dolby vision only HDR10+ but what is the point when it is not 4k resolution
In my opinion, the iPhone was officially surpassed since the s24ultra. Either way, i think the s25u is the superior phone by a mile. With that being said, it's easy for apple to stomp the s25u this year since the s25u isn't some groundbreaking upgrade. I might actually just wait for the s26u because i feel like that's the big upgrade with a different battery and better optimization. And if that's not the case, I'll stay with the s24u for more years.
Ive sold my 16 pro max today and preordered a 25 ultra. Really excited to try it! I hope the animations are finally on par! In luxemburg the base 256gb cost 1430 for apple and 1550 for the s25U. Its crazy 1999 for 1tb.

Without the protector it would work without issues but considering new phones are prone to being dropped when you least expect them to, I ain't risking it.
I returned it. Great phone but seriously if I'm paying that much for it to not open when I want it to, Samsung and all the rest can stick it. My work phone is an IPhone 13 and it works perfectly with face ID.
My personal phone was and still is the Note 8 with the physical scanner on the back. Works perfect. 8 year old phone and still going strong. Overheating at times but honestly don't care.
Samsung S25U costs €1449 in Belgium, that's equal to $1529 with a trade in from S24U 512GB version only giving €560 as trade in.
Also they give an extra €100 for the IPhone as trade in.
The so called dynamic island on the iPhone makes it look like it's coming from the 2010s

With some disappointments like no bigger battery and no fast charging, is it worth upgrading? Getting 512GB for 960£ with student discount and the pre-order offers.
For that price its a steal bro but we still dont know about battery performence and another thing dont think about the charging speed i mean 45w is quite fast but ngl it could have been faster

Samsung Knight here. And to be fair, samsung has had pop-up notifications (dynmanic island) for the longest now . The convince is yes, it's now at the bottom for easier access.

People dont bring up the fact that samsung or any android that not pixel phone updates take forever to receive while iPhone even orlder generation receive at the same as tbe new iPhone. Its sad the samsung fold 6 cost 1800 didn't receive the android 15 update yet
Take the accountability for what you spend your money. It's nothing new, everybody knows Samsung takes the time to put OneUi. Nobody forces you to buy Z Fold.
Sell your Z Fold and go buy a Pixel Fold: simple.

Things where the Galaxy S25 could improve
No anti glare display on the s25
No 4k resolution display so no 4k quality videos on YT and Netflix and all
No improvement in battery size i.e. still 4000Mah or even to the new carbide battery technology like the oneplus and vivo did
No Dolby vision only HDR10+ but what is the point when it is not 4k resolution

In my opinion, the iPhone was officially surpassed since the s24ultra. Either way, i think the s25u is the superior phone by a mile. With that being said, it's easy for apple to stomp the s25u this year since the s25u isn't some groundbreaking upgrade. I might actually just wait for the s26u because i feel like that's the big upgrade with a different battery and better optimization. And if that's not the case, I'll stay with the s24u for more years.

In luxemburg the base 256gb cost 1430 for apple and 1550 for the s25U. Its crazy 1999 for 1tb.

I'm team Samsung all day and I hope those who upgrade enjoy the phone. The no Bluetooth S-Pen is major downgrade, atleast for me cuz I actually use it. According to Samsung, not enough people were using it
S20 Ultra had 16GB ram 5 years ago surprised the S25 Ultra is only 12GB.
I hate the fact the screen edge is also boxy and hate they downgraded the pen and still pissed about the headphone jack removal .Skipping this year sadly.
