Joe Mc Que was wonderful!!! I heard that when he started going to AA, the group he first went to told him he could not hang out before or after the meeting, and that he was not allowed to drink out of their Coffee Cups.
He didn't care , because he wanted to find Sobriety.
Shame on that group, Kudos to this wonderful man!!!

Wasn't just that group, was aa in general back then. No catholics, no women, no blacks, native Americans, addicts, gays......
Was not th all encompassing fellowship it is today (thankfully)

What a wonderful legacy for Joe, TH-cam really can be a force for good. My sponsors sponsor saw this in rehab on VHS, really helped him get started. I find the light hiss in the background comforting, the thought that there were people when I was a child laying the groundwork for my recovery today makes me cry tears of joy.

As an alcoholic that has a very hard time listening to people I'm thankful for people like Joe Elliott. I can listen and comprehend the way he lays it out without my mind drifting off

Tomorrow is my 5th birthday! I find great comfort in learning, to remind myself that I still don’t have all the answers! God bless my family of twisted and afflicted sober drunks!

An ambassador for AA that trademarked all this recovery dynamics works so they aren’t freely available to alcoholics.

Eileen Anderson the treatment center i went to used these tapes and taught from his program he developed Recovery Dynamics. It really breaks it down and he talks to you not at you, is how i feel, but overall made it simple for me to understand.
