    Russ any slow cure epoxy will work glue them in place then there not going anywhere nothing more annoying than loose heatshrink or loose eva/duralon grips.

      Joe that is an acetal sandspike we use on our surf rod builds jump on the website there in the sandspikes folder.

      @@therodworks5272 interesting, so you actually stick your rod directly in the sand? also when fishing a fish can you put it up against your hip or is it uncomfortable? i like the shape as i would hold the sandspike while casting, looks like a nice long durable shape
