This verse must have a deeper meaning or is out of context because Allah doesn't punish a people for things they did not know or what was beyond their control, so if Allah has sealed their hearts, shut their ears, and veiled their vision then they are blind, deaf, and heart dead and don't know what they do or have anyone to run to other than Allah as they march towards hell which would then seem to be what they've been created for.

I read so many sci-fi books and fantasy book at young age (when I wasn’t muslim) which helped with my imagination -no doubt, there was a book i read written aroun60s or 70s Can’t remember which one maybe Isac Asimov or Arthur Clark the people secluding themselves because there is no need to physically connect with other humans, and communicate via phone - with video connection! MOST of things considered sci-fi 60 years ago are now reality.

I've always wondered about that, the evolutionist that claim not to believe in God because there's no proof but then believe in a theory that was deducted by people over a billion years later telling what happened as though they were alive and experienced it, but it is science and that is what we have to believe in.

Blind believe in a religion, can be okay in an ingnorant country where you dont have opposition who can tackle your feeble believe with ratio. In this age, however. Some muslims are leaving Islam because the foundation of their believe is not built upon a stark rational basis but merely on blind believe. If then shaken by the attack of an atheist, it is easy for the pillars of this believe to collapse and thus leaving the religion. I think it is a must that we provide people, especially those who are willing to push the boundaries of the foundation of their believe, to provide them with rational arguments. This will result in an ever larger believe from them instead of that they are not being provided with ratio and they will believe. We need to assist our muslim brothers with ratio and with the wisdom of the Quran.
Scientific and logical rationale is the way for many people including me, there was no way on earth I would pick up any religious book based on mere belief that it was a word of God, it was a fairy tale or a book to create order and provide comfort at most. The only thing that made me believe in God is the absurd alternative that we're left with which is that we were created by ourselves out of nothing, that's why it makes me happy to see brothers like Hijab explore all these scientific and rational points at least for those who think on the same wavelength as me. I would also presume that a large majority of those who are leaving Islam nowadays are being persuaded by those who think a better alternative is to believe in only what they see but what they ultimately see is creation but they don't realise that there has to be a creator of that creation. It's going to take many years for some to conclude this for themselves and for some perhaps sadly never that's why what these brothers are doing is remarkable in every way to have this material always ready whenever it's required to guide people towards the truth.
Don't know if this is related but tbh western philosophy has also conditioned us into being TOO skeptic of things, like there are people who say "even if god prophecised many things in the Quran there still needs to be evidence for hell and heaven" which is irrational. Like would you ask a doctor to prove that you have a dangerous disease? No, he's a doctor and he's proven that already via his PhD or you've already seen him help others before. Allah has left MORE than enough evidence in this universe that he's our creator yet people still choose to be arrogant/ignorant.

Basically what the results show is that the fundamental nature of this universe is very strange and the empiricism has almost reached a dead end. The people who are leaving Islam due to modernisation will one day realise (if they get that chance) what a mistake they've made when they find this out for themselves because how can these strange impossibilities of these scientific results be widely accepted yet the concept of its creator somehow became too impossible them.

tbh the quantum analogy was explained wrong imo. According to the copenhagen interpretation the schrödinger equation is a function of probability. So the probability of a particle p being at position x is such and such, but it is also probable that particle p could be at the position y (we dont know until measuring it, resulting in a collapse of the wave function). You're right that science is not always right, and that religion can be just as logical or more logical than science, but there's a difference between established science and scientific theories. Scientific theories are theories, so not proven and can be disproven. And when it comes to evolution, we do have physical proof in the form of fossils. Not that evolution and religion can't coexist.

This verse must have a deeper meaning or is out of context because Allah doesn't punish a people for things they did not know or what was beyond their control, so if Allah has sealed their hearts, shut their ears, and veiled their vision then they are blind, deaf, and heart dead and don't know what they do or have anyone to run to other than Allah as they march towards hell which would then seem to be what they've been created for.

MOST of things considered sci-fi 60 years ago are now reality.

Blind believe in a religion, can be okay in an ingnorant country where you dont have opposition who can tackle your feeble believe with ratio. In this age, however. Some muslims are leaving Islam because the foundation of their believe is not built upon a stark rational basis but merely on blind believe. If then shaken by the attack of an atheist, it is easy for the pillars of this believe to collapse and thus leaving the religion. I think it is a must that we provide people, especially those who are willing to push the boundaries of the foundation of their believe, to provide them with rational arguments. This will result in an ever larger believe from them instead of that they are not being provided with ratio and they will believe. We need to assist our muslim brothers with ratio and with the wisdom of the Quran.
Scientific and logical rationale is the way for many people including me, there was no way on earth I would pick up any religious book based on mere belief that it was a word of God, it was a fairy tale or a book to create order and provide comfort at most. The only thing that made me believe in God is the absurd alternative that we're left with which is that we were created by ourselves out of nothing, that's why it makes me happy to see brothers like Hijab explore all these scientific and rational points at least for those who think on the same wavelength as me.
I would also presume that a large majority of those who are leaving Islam nowadays are being persuaded by those who think a better alternative is to believe in only what they see but what they ultimately see is creation but they don't realise that there has to be a creator of that creation.
It's going to take many years for some to conclude this for themselves and for some perhaps sadly never that's why what these brothers are doing is remarkable in every way to have this material always ready whenever it's required to guide people towards the truth.
Don't know if this is related but tbh western philosophy has also conditioned us into being TOO skeptic of things, like there are people who say "even if god prophecised many things in the Quran there still needs to be evidence for hell and heaven" which is irrational. Like would you ask a doctor to prove that you have a dangerous disease? No, he's a doctor and he's proven that already via his PhD or you've already seen him help others before. Allah has left MORE than enough evidence in this universe that he's our creator yet people still choose to be arrogant/ignorant.

Basically what the results show is that the fundamental nature of this universe is very strange and the empiricism has almost reached a dead end. The people who are leaving Islam due to modernisation will one day realise (if they get that chance) what a mistake they've made when they find this out for themselves because how can these strange impossibilities of these scientific results be widely accepted yet the concept of its creator somehow became too impossible them.

tbh the quantum analogy was explained wrong imo. According to the copenhagen interpretation the schrödinger equation is a function of probability. So the probability of a particle p being at position x is such and such, but it is also probable that particle p could be at the position y (we dont know until measuring it, resulting in a collapse of the wave function). It does not necessarly mean a particle exists on many places simultaneously. Quantum physics is not as mysterious as many assume. Wa Allahu a'alam

You're right that science is not always right, and that religion can be just as logical or more logical than science, but there's a difference between established science and scientific theories. Scientific theories are theories, so not proven and can be disproven. And when it comes to evolution, we do have physical proof in the form of fossils. Not that evolution and religion can't coexist.

dual nature of photons, and other "wanders" from the quantum world look weird to us, creatures from macro world. but all these have been - ready, Mr. MH? - theorized about and then proved through experiments and observations.
So, these "miracles" haven't been taken for granted because e.g. SOMEBODY that never been seen or heard said so. No. Behind these scientific achievements are real people from a real world.
It is nothing particularly enlightening that if somebody takes anything from 20 or 21st century and return back to 18th or 9th cent. it would be glorified as a miracle maker or burned alive as Satan's emissary. THAT analogy don't work here and cannot be taken as a basis to accept existence of Heaven and Hell. On a simpler level: simply because there was nobody who came from wherever with a solid proof of their existence. contrary to 😁 the afore mentioned hypothetical time traveller from 21st century with all the el. gadgets presented to some medieval people.
