    Never fails to impress. This was the song that got me into guns n roses, not the riff but the solo. I remember picking up the guitar for the first time about 2 years ago. No regrets at all.

    Nice man, I think you could play a 2 x 4 and make it sound good though ha. I also have a vintage “paradise” that I picked up several years ago. It’s good for the price but it definitely doesn’t play as well as my LPs. They didn’t quite get that veneer too to look like maple either, but hey, for 400 bucks it’s a good deal!
    You rock man🎸

      I've got one and it is a great guitar . Maybe I got lucky but Vintage deserve their reputation . Maybe you were unlucky . Best wishes

    • @slashtrio
      @slashtrio 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jamesguitar7384 I wasn’t unlucky at all. I still have the vintage and it’s a great guitar, especially for the price. I also have a few Gibson LPs and there is definitely a difference in quality and I much prefer the Gibson’s to the vintage. But I also understand the argument that the difference in price may not be justified. The tops on pretty much every vintage (at least the paradise model) doesn’t not look like a really maple flame top. It’s has way too much flame and just doesn’t look legit. But that is more about aesthetics. Vintage are cool, I was actually considering getting one of their Hendrix inspired strats. Cheers

    : O
    What a surprise! My guitar!
    I'm using it with Boss Katana 100 MK2 and Spark 40 for practice (this one sounds too dark everything). Still haven't found sounds I like. Seems averything too flat and dark even with Katana. Probably more research on the presets, or a little Marshall could help lol.
    Maybe I'll add some analogic pedal to have more "grrr" on the Katana. Any suggestions?
    The guitar is lovely for price, seems robust wood, paint too. Neck maybe not for my hand. Still not seen by a luthier for details (if needed).
    I found the E string sounds too dark, but don't know with a Marshall. A buy to consider, to me, in his price range.
    Oh! I don't like the color brown on tne body ahah.
    About your play, oh man!

    Weird...it sounds better than gibsons on sd. Amplitube ?

    • @JakobSlash
      @JakobSlash  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It has a different sound than alnico 2, because the pickups are ceramic. They have an aggressive mid range and a tighter bottom end and smoother highs.
      Slash claimed that his derrig had a sonically difference in the midrange that his others guitars couldnt match.. So thats why you maybe like these pickups better! I love them too.
      Amp is a marshall code 50

      @@JakobSlash it sounds perfect for me. But i believe You can get this tone from anything, youre that good :) Im about to replace slashbuckers in my 2020 slash goldtop but I cant make a decision what to buy aph-1 or aph-2. I love old slash gnr/snakepit tone as well i dont really like his new tone. Are they that different ? You got both . What are your thoughts?
